For so long, I heard about Upton Sinclair's, "The Jungle". I thought there would be page after page of worker abuse and sanitary violations within the meatpacking industry. I felt more cheated than the time that I recorded, and listened to, over and over, "Louie Louie", by the Kingmen, for the naughty language that was supposed to be in that song.
The example about thanking Rockefeller for saving whales because he promoted kerosene is not only absurd, but had kerosene not had a mkt then old man Rockefeller wouldn't have bothered with it. Rockefeller is also notorious for using strong arm tactics to bully competition. Being one study by a professor looking into predatory pricing the history of Rockefeller and his war on labour doesn't need defending anymore. So, I'm surprised Larry would hinge his argument on so weak a specimen.
On the Jesus discussion -what about the entrepreneurial story of Parable of talents? Basically-don't hide money under a mattress. Take $5 and diligently make it $10. Additionly, Jesus never said "money is evil" did he not say "theLOVE of money is evil"??
Great speech.

I don't want to be hostile but this is some tone deaf horseshit.
