The tour started with Floor recovering from breast cancer surgery & treatments, then killed it promoting Nightwish on a world tour as well as all her promotion & concerts for her solo album, and Rocking like the Valkyrie Goddess she is until 8 months pregnant and collapsing. She gave it her all. Massive respect!
Tribal is from Human Nature album. Unlike few previous albums, Human Nature does not have full symphonic orchestra, but just some strings. Except the second CD, which is just symphonic orchestra, without the band instruments. It seems that Nightwish album number ten (which they are just at the moment mixing) will have orchestra, since they released some pictures in social media from Abbey Road studios recording the orchestral stuff.
Hello again guys. This 2022 - 2023 Human || Nature world tour was fantastic. Carol, my lovely wife of 42 years, and I had the wonderful opportunity to travel from Phoenix to see them perform live at the historic Warfield Theatre in San Francisco on May 18th, 2022. The entire show was terrific from waiting in line with all the other wonderful fans to get in to the very last note. I highly recommend that you check out their performances from the amazing sunset show at Hellfest 2022 in France and the wonderfully recorded nighttime performance at the Deichbrand 2022 festival in Germany. Great reaction to our beloved band with our Valkyrie goddess, Floor Jansen.
Human || Nature is my favorite Nightwish album of all time, it felt like a farewell to marco that actually did him justice. The weight that Endlessness, the last track on the album has with his departure really sends it in my opinion. I feel like that album is the peak of their entire music journey and evolution. Love the band to bits and always come back to that album or to Nightwish reactions for it when im having a melancholic evening alone. Some songs on there definitely do something to me and it helps me completely unwind and deal with whatever makes me feel sad / melancholic in that minute. What an artistry truely.
@@Nonamed70 I concur. This is my workout muse during every gym day and I adore the breadth and depth of the music on this double album set. There is such a rich nature to these songs... and I agree that Endlessness is a fitting farewell and tribute to Marco. Beautifully done from start to finish. I can't wait for their new album to come out this year.
Thank you! Love this Tribal. I hope their new album to be heavy. Sahara (Live in Tampa) next, please. Wonderful song with Middle Eastern/oriental vibes.
I love the triplets at the end. Yes, this was harmonic minor. The pentatonic scale is more of an Eastern mode. I teach theory to my piano students. Would love to analyze all of NW songs.
Nightwish goes more metal on some, which I love, but then they can play a ballad or more contempory. Every song is different, you can't pigeonhold Nightwish, they are just excellent in whatever kind of song they decide to play.
Great reaction. Video is a mixture from various shows throughout the tour (thus the different outfits she is wearing, some pregnant, some not) tied with live audio from one show. The graphics in the video (Skull, flying cards, dancing skeletons) were from the official lyric video. Human Nature dropped in 2020 right before the pandemic hit, the band couldn't tour in support of the album so they ended up releasing high quality lyric videos for each song on disc 1 except for Noise which already had a full music video. This song is another in the vein of Weak Fantasy that expounds upon the danger's of religion, specifically blindly following any ideology instead of thinking critically for yourself. Especially like the poetic line "Abraham cut into three" which is a clear reference to Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Of note, Kai had to add extra toms to his drum kit to play Tribal live. Highly recommend watching the lyric video on your own so that you can checkout the Skeleton Dance. I tried to learn it before seeing them live in Boston in 2022 but ended up just head banging my butt off when they played Tribal. I am a relatively recent (4 years) fan of Nightwish and I absolutely love Human Nature. I think it's one of their best albums and really showcases their maturity as musicians. The themes are deep and thought provoking. All the songs but especially the 30 minute orchestral piece on disc 2, All the Works of Nature that Adorn the World, demonstrate Tuomas's genius as a composer and lyricist. You guys already heard one song from the album, the acoustic version of How's the Heart. Since there are videos for all the songs (8 lyric videos, 1 music video, 1 fan made, band approved video for All the Works of Nature that Adorn the World) I highly recommend doing a playthrough of the whole album. When you get to How's the Heart I would still do the lyric video which has very different feel to it. My favorites from the album are Shoemaker (one of my top 5 Nightiwsh songs), Endlessness (Marko singing lead for the last time with Nightwish), How's the Heart, Music, Noise, and Harvest (Troy singing lead) but every song is awesome.
A crowd pleaser - this one. There are other Nightwish songs with this vibe like Sahara, for instance. But I would like to take this opportunity and recommend you a band from Ukraine called IGNEA, which is a little more focused in that direction. 🙂
All songs on Human Nature are awesome. It's a story from song nr 1 till Endlessness. The 2nd part of the album is instrumental (orchestra) and is beautiful. Floor had cancersurgery and delivered her 2nd daughter and I am amazed how she still belted out while being in her last semester. WOW You should watch the official lyric video, to get the context of this awesome song.
Great reaction...The Human Nature is a Master piece all album...Floor is a Nature Force is amazing Kai is a monster drummer for me the best on the planet...please check Endlessness with Marco in this album ...is sublime song of Nightwish
Heaviest on the album - in general its not a heavy album by NW standards. As already said this album deliberately doesn't have the full orchestra on disc one which I do miss to be honest (though made it interesting for a change up) - looking forward to it back on album 10
Good Job! 🤘Love to hear Noise 2022 at Deichbrand Festival ( first song). And still hoping for more Floor/AFTER FOREVER ruclips.net/video/73-_F9prx4I/видео.htmlsi=UTwvFMXWHc2Y44eD with her first band AFTER FOREVER singing Dreamflight live at Progpower US 2007. She was in the band from 1997 untill the end in 2009.
Both the Phrygian and the Phrygian Dominant are my favorite modes. If you like these too, I highly suggest checking out "The Tea Party." They have mastered these two modes in my opinion.
The contrast between the corseted imagery and de heavily pregnant depictions are (imho) also a revelation in her diversity..Niether diminishing the other, both being great.
In general, I also don't like excessive stopping of music in reactions, but here it's no nonsense from them and both guys (who are also from the "field" so to speak) have something interesting to tell us.
🇬🇧 Norfolk strapped in 😊 becoming a crowd favourite at a lot of events Extra drums needed on his kit for this one Check out Sahara for the Egyptian scale 😊

They also released a drum cam from this song during a live performance!
And Kai has a fan shot drum cam of his drum clinic from late last year,

This one is from their latest released album Human and Nature, please check this album , its fantastic
This was the perfect birthday gift for me (23.12) 😊
Nightwish and The Warning are both dropping albums this year.
You should listen their song ”Sahara” (Tampa live).
Hi Guys Tuomas started writing the songs for the new album. Kai had to add to his kit for this song. Baby Lucy had a free concert
Lucy is probably great at head banging already!🤘🎸
Funny you say that, Tuomas was inspired by Metallica (and Pink Floyd) when he was in the states as a young man.
On the bass, Jukka is very capable… he came over from wintersun, not an easy gig …
Transitioooooon! Correct. Harmonic minor. They don't use symphony on every song. Success for you guys in 2024! 🥂🥂☠☠

"TWO BLIND MICE", didn't even notice Floor was pregnant....
To be fair, They did mention being pregnant on tour before watching, but did not comment during the video. I think they focused on the music.
You talk way too mutch en stop the song too mutch. Sorry but its not nice too watch
