Amazing! Ive been waiting for a plugin like this from you for forever, cos your rhythmic IRs are just the best. And THANK YOU got making it OS10.15.7 compatible for all us composers working on long jobs and not wanting to risk OS updates mid-project!
Looks like a very interesting plug-in. A tiny improvement suggestion would be a visualization of the „fade in/out“ parameters. Other than that this thing looks/sounds great!
Super cool! Although there are already many plugins similar to this on the market, but as always Heavyocity adds their own very special touch to this and make it unique. Great stuff!
@@Heavyocitymedia I have a suggestion: to be able to click a star or heart beside a preset to make a favorite folder automaticaly. Of course I can just save an existing preset and add "- 5 star" beside it so it goes in the user folder, but it's not optimal as they would mix with my own custom presets. Maybe on a future update?
Hi Phil, thanks for writing in. Given the nature of Convolution processes, this plugin is intended for processing existing external audio by convolving it with an IR, whether it's from our Factory Library or your own audio sample to be used as an Impulse Response. Although Vast is an incredibly powerful plugin that can transform any audio source you run through it, it is not a sampler or synthesizer; rather, it is an audio processor. Hope this helps.
Hey. Thanks. I get it. I just don't see myself rendering wave files along the way during a MIDI session. Experimenting with VAST, rendering wave files, again and again, in order to fit my needs perfectly... Let's say your wave file works great in VAST but you need to know what would happen if you move a few notes here and there.. well you can't.. you need to render another file etc.. which for me is like going backward. But please don't get me wrong, VAST sounds awesome. Hence the frustration ;)
@@PhilReyGibbons Apologies for the confusion. It appears you might be talking about the Impulse Response files, which you can either import your own or select one of more than 200 included in the Factory Library. Vast is an audio effect plugin, to be used as an insert or send effect. It will process and affect whatever input it is receiving (just like an EQ) in your session. You would only need a rendered audio file if you wished to import it as an Impulse Response of your own into the convolution engine, however, you can certainly use Vast with its own Impulse Responses and use those to process your tracks. Feel free to ask any further questions you might have about Vast, we'd be happy to help.
@@Heavyocitymedia My turn to apology, I was definitely confused about all this . I will definitely have a closer look now. Thanks for your time. Take care.

AMAZING PLUGIN!!!!!!!
Thank you 🤘
Very nice. The only (big) issue for me is to have to create an audio file as an input signal... Or did I miss something ?

@@PhilReyGibbons our pleasure! Let us know if we can answer any further questions.
is it possible to use this plug with live vocals?
Yep. With the right host setup this is possible
@@AdamHanley host setup? i got a microphone and an interface connected to my pc... thats all i need right?
@@NoSky84 Vast is a plugin, so you need a host (i.e. a DAW like Cubase), but assuming you have that then yeah, it should work fine with live vocals
@@AdamHanley ah ok, yah, i have bitwig.. so no problem.. its surely interesting to use it with live singing and using this plug in
Ah man.
I was just building this vst lol 😆
You beat me to it
😂
Yeah give me something score and take my money.
