- The parents of Callum and Jake Robinson, who were were killed during a surfing trip in Mexico, have broken their silence.
Martin and Debra Robinson broke down in tears as spoke from San Diego, California, on Tuesday (local time), where they shared their heartbreak over their son’s deaths.
The Perth brothers Callum, 33, and Jake, 30, alongside their American friend Jack Carter Rhoad, 30, were killed in a bungled robbery when the killers drove by and saw their pick-up truck and tents.

My heart is so sad for these parents. I have 4 Sons between the ages of 32 and 42 and I know that if two of my sons were killed in the way that these young men where I would be completely devastated.
So young and handsome and so much life to live.

Its too heartbreaking…GOD BLESS THESE POOR FAMILIES ! but its been very very dangerous for years visiting Mexico because of the drugs and the murdering gangs of thugs… years ago my friend and I would cross over the border from San Diego , have a fun day shopping in Tijuana …and return to the USA very safely ….but its all changed now ! ITS TOO DANGEROUS !
Only visit mexico in an Abrams.
