The Character of Conejo was the first time that a Character ever Scared me in a Movie of this Type ! Excellent acting.
Because he really lived that life shit he was on the run almost 15 years for a murder he got caught in Mexico

Same here the first time i heard conejo was on odm's compilation from 1999. Couple years later i copped that city of angels special edition. I wasnt even 12 yet and i could barely comprehend anything the music was projecting yet i jusy wanted to follow my older brothers footsteps hahaha

the tax collector was a missed opportunity , good plot but,,,,,,, the casting was poor, the delivery was poor, the acting was poor
shai was the only good thing about the movie. the main character david, was suppose to be the boss but the actor did not impose fear and authority . with regards to conejo, the character was good but as an actor , he could have done more workshop .
Come on tell the truth the movie was horrible! Bad, bad acting. The editing was totally of timing, the music did not match the emotional direction of the scenes, the actors were not on point with the scene. It was like watching Jr. High school theater - really disappointed at the whole movie.
The movie sucked it just didn't make sense.. the concept was good 👍 but poorly executed. I thought there would've been more action. Conejo was good though I feel like he was just playing himself lol 😆 also my favorite songs by him are "my mind just erupted" "looking into the eyes of a killer" and "drugged up" also to clear something up im half Mexican and not hating on the movie I just think it could've been done better.
I liked how they used Gangs like "Hillside 13" from Training Day and "VGV" or "Varrio Grande Vista" from Boulevard Nights
