You get to experience old Roblox just as empty as it was back then - great! ...Why?
Because of curiosity or personal interest. The old clients can be played offline & singleplayer as well whereas new ones cannot without reverse engineering them (which is basically impossible with the latest clients since 2018 or so)

Finobe did reverse engineer 2007, 2010 ( when launched it was 2010 roblox ) , 2016, 2012. The smoothest way. I don't think it would be far off to reverse engineer 2018-2020 clients. Though much more difficulty.
Novetus a litter harder to do with, but basically did the same but on a grander scale.

If you are getting an error along the lines of "the side-by-side configuration is incorrect," then you need to install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Service Pack. As for the others, I assume its the same issues. If you installed the package and it has the issues still, either your computer doesn't support, or you installed the wrong package. the 2007 client is states the required package, but the others don't.

You have to either download the 2005 C++ thingy that is linked on the page where you download the client or if it’s saying browser not supported just press file in the top left corner and press new and it’s done

I downloaded the oldest file and it says that i need to run the sxstrace.exe command, that command is used on Linux computers :/
For this to execute correctly, you need to make sure your system has the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Service Pack installed.
This was standard in most old systems, but newer systems are no longer bundled with it.
