- Furina AU Part 4 | implied fear of familial disappointment and an implied doting older brother
(canonically Ace's older brother is an alumni of NRC & Heartslabyul and also is a bit of a trickster and menace like Ace)
ALSO canonically Ace's older brother was way more excited about Ace going to NRC than their parents was and Ace mentions being on the phone with his brother at night, implying their close relationship. (cr of extra info from kamidukki on tumblr)

anyways sorry if this has less plot than the last time but there's a lot of hints around this video about whats happening or whats going to happen (*cough* the yellow eyes)
i wanted to establish Ace and Furina's relationship before anything else because its going to be jarring if I skip to the next ep and Furina is concerned about Ace for like no reason 😭
ALSO vulnerable Ace is so rare in canon like i love him being a chaotic menace but i need more scenes where he's open and vulnerable with his feelings (it's never going to happen its literally canon ace in twst so its impossible)

Honestly i am loving this series. Not only does it pace the story better but also does some most necessary stuff
1. Add layers to Ace. Instead of just being a comic relief like he was for the 1st 3 chapters. It shows his desire of living up to his family's exception but also becoming more like role model older bro
2. Makes Trey closer to his Alice in Wonderland live action movie the Knave of Hearts who was the Red Queen's closest confidant
3. Shows that Heartslabyul's RSA counterpart is at play from the shadows like in the live action
Huge thank you on the pacing part!! Since the AU doesn't really go into detail on some old scenes of the Heartslabyul arc (how Ace & Furina interacted when they met etc) I'm happy that you find the pace of the story good.
Anyways I'm also glad that the "layering" of Ace is appreciated well! He's still going to be a bit of a comic relief later but serious parts are also going to show up.
But the parts about the counterparts and their original was something I didn't think I was emulating so thanks for pointing that out lol
At this point, if Furina goes in further the mood and could, she would drown Heartslabyul if it wasn’t for the casualties that couldn’t be ignored. Riddle and Trey (especially him) gotta watch their backs 💀

But I’m not too late to play the game.” Ooh it seems like Che’nya is giving us more details of what Trey is up to. Makes me wonder on how your gonna make Che’nya get involved with this situation because Ace did not deserved to get humiliated like that!! 😭 Nice to see Furina and Ace’s interactions with eachother, it’s quite sweet. If I make a analysis on this, it would have to be hours after my comment.
Honestly, thinking it through, I really do have a bone to pick with Riddle. I understand his past and stuff but seriously? Kicking out an underclassmen, a 1st year no less, on his first week of school because he forgot a rule. I get that the Queen of Hearts isn't exactly lenient with the rules either but still. It's a bit unfair for Ace. I'm just glad Furina let's him stay over

*CHE’NYA + TREY (PT 1) SECTION :*
Let’s start with the yellow eyes that clearly hint to Che’nya, he tells us that Trey has been waiting for someone to arrive. Now we can think that ‘someone’ might be Ace. Trey has heard of Ace from him skipping the ceremony (not sure about this one), him eating the tart, and the chandelier incident. We can refer to Fleur’s comment with how they view Trey, “Anyways I think he did it on purpose in canon to “pawn off” the troublemaker in Heartslabyul to Ramshackle so there wouldn’t be anymore fighting against Riddle.” I believe that Trey was waiting for Ace to come to him and ask for help with the tarts. Afterall, who else to ask but the vice-leader and baker of Heartslabyul?
Che’nya tells us that Trey has believed he succeeded with his plan on pawning Ace off and from what’s happening in the videos, this could be the case. However, Che’nya plans to get himself involved with this incident. We can assume that Ace is similar to Alice and also assume Che’nya, who is the Cheshire Cat, will help Ace who’s role is Alice in this situation.
So do we trust Che’nya? Maybe. The Cheshire is intelligent but mischievous. So if Che’nya does help ace, we can also assume trouble will happen afterwards.

*TREY SECTION PT 2:*
“Are you really okay with this Trey?” “What do you want me to say about it?” This just tells us Trey knows what he did but believes there is nothing to say about it. In his eyes, he’s doing Riddle a favor and the others as he believes Riddle’s temper will rise with troublemakers like Ace there. “So does he believe he’s in the wrong?” Possibly, but will he do anything about it? Most likely not.

*ACE SECTION :*
Will I analysis Ace? Yes, yes I will. Firstly, the Trappola brothers. The two seem very close seeing as they communicate daily. (And what older sibling wouldn’t pass on teasing their younger sibling? Especially when they get in trouble.) Ace is clearly upset and possibly feels like he’s letting down his elder brother. We can see Ace is concerned with how his brother would react, and this video shows us him grimacing at the thought of his brother handling this situation in another way other than being a menace. Now after the incident with Trey, he’s kinda wary of Furina with the thought that she might backstab him like Trey. Luckily this isn’t the case and Furina actually cares for Ace. How lovely!! We can assume Ace is grateful for her.

I don't know whether I should be scared or happy right now because I just did a quick skim of what you wrote and I already see something that is literally IN MY DRAFTS.
But moving on from that, I had a feeling that the comment I wrote was gonna screw me over and it did.
I won't really confirm or deny anything about the cat & Trey parts because they're very crucial to the plot rn...but it was really nice seeing your interpretations of their actions though!

I love this part, you really understood his motivations & character in the AU and I'm just in awe.
Now Deuce, the blueberry haired man is currently very ambiguous (even for me) but I can say that he is going to aid the FuriAce duo in his own way (THEY FINALLY HAVE A DUO NAME LMAO?)
Anyways, it was wonderful seeing your analysis' and you picked up on a lot of things.
Your interpretations were great too, and even if it might not align with the outline that's in the works right now...a viewer's interpretation makes the work I do a lot more meaningful so thank you for this comment
