So if History continues to repeat, the Jays will be on the way to winning the series tomorrow, only for the bullpen to blow it late game. Happened against the Twins, and against the Braves last series.
@EmptyCeraelBowl...you see the same thing I've been seeing...7th inning it begins coach sends in one of 3 pitchers...Green. Brenden Little, Zach Pop...major collapse no matter the score...walk, walk, hit by pitch...Homerun!...we'll win one of the 3 games every series due to this orchestrated travesty...what's the point...coach needs to be fired...I have my thoughts of these loses...I'd rather not say...
What is even crazier is they've both won 5 games against each other this season and they're in the same subdivision, so right now, they would have to use the 3rd tiebreaker which would be to compare their win percentages after the All Star break which the Mets would win since they're 60% and the Braves are 52%
Jays fan here. If the Mets make the playoffs, how are they going to compete vs. the Phillies, Brewers, and Dodgers unless they start scoring more runs.....?
@@markdinkel-uh2je Yup. The 1969 squad couldn't hit a lick. Art Shamsky led the team in homers with 14 and in RBI with 47. That is somewhat misleading, as Donn Clendenon had 51 RBI on the year, but 14 of those were with Montreal before he was traded to the Mets, and because there were platoons everywhere, so no one played over 100 games, but still...led the team with 14 HRs and 47 RBIs?? They did have Tom Seaver and Jerry Koosman leading a brilliant staff, though. (Nolan Ryan was an afterthought at that point in life, a guy with no control and chronic blister problems.)
Good job Davis! Now you better sit for the next 10 games so you don’t get the consistency to get out of any slump (if you’re even in one), while they continue to play players who aren’t playing well. Let’s pray you get out of this awful Canadian team this offseason
2 outs with a 4 run lead...not the worst decision in the world. Gotta remember who's coming up to bat too 😂. If the next batter was a heavy home run hitter then he would be stupid trying to stretch a single into a double. But since next batter was Kirk, Guerrero really would have benefitted from getting into scoring position. Reward outweighed the risk imo
Nah I'm not angry at that play. Was it aggressive? Yes absolutely. But with 2 out (and a decent lead), why not take the gamble? If his hand hadn't come off the bag for a fraction of a second due to the momentum he would have been safe and been in scoring position. I will definitely admit that he's made some BAD decisions in the past, but this wasn't one of them. And he's playing confident which pays dividends.
Show of respect between Winker and Vlad Jr.
SPOILER SHIELD
This should be the pinned comment for all highlights.
Thank you.
You, sir, deserve a beer on me.
Amen
Is the “Spoiler Shield” app still a thing?
Thank you
How many times this year has Vladdy been thrown out trying to get to second? The jays need to control their players

@@suhrobrustambik2388 sadly, even after Francis pitched an absolute GEM. The Jays let him down 😭

8:55 I thought the video was showing the previous history of their interactions; I was wrong: it was pitch after pitch, double-one figure.
Had a little trouble with the Blue Jays today, eh Mets, thanks Blue Jays, a Braves fan
Let's go Blue Jays 💙!
Pretty good game. ❤
Mets and Braves tied once again for the last NL Wild Card spot

not very well
@@markdinkel-uh2je
Doesn't seem that way
Ya gotta believe, specially after what happened today with that no hitter
@@jimwerther I hope not but just a guess. Would live to see them in world series. Correct me if I am wrong but weren't there doubts in 1969.

Davis Schneider is struggling this season, it’s good to see him getting some production. Hope he gets his mojo back.
Davis Schneider with a triple!!!!!!

The Mets just look horrible, too many mistakes on defense. Can anyone catch a ball?
