- Tired of spending money on cleaning silver?Well, here is an easy way to clean out the tarnish off those beautiful silver jewelry, coins or idols that you have at home.Just a bit of baking soda, vinegar or lemon juice and some good old aluminum foil!Yup,that's it!
I just did it and it works!! My wedding rings looks new again.😘😘💓💙💚
Using vinegar with soda basically cancels out what the soda will do on its own. Acid with a base = neutral ph.
You can do this with foil, hot water, and baking soda.
YES, THERE NEEDS TO BE SOME VERBAL OR WRITTEN TIPS. I KNOW IT'S BOILING WATER BUT WAS WONDERING WHAT THE VINEGAR DOES TO THE SOLUTION.
No sound
i agree with G.J Trott
Would probably be a good thing to show the silver before the cleaning...it's possible the pieces looked better BEFORE they went in the solution.
You don't need the vinegar to do this. Just the foil and the baking soda with the hot water will give the cleaning reaction. Vinegar is unnecessary acidity.
You didn’t show any before only after results ... you didn’t explain how long to leave silver in the boiling aluminum pot.
Thank you. It worked.
measurements? how long do you boil for? what dud you put in it?
Amma vari vigrahaalanu yendukandi ala cheyadam, cheyavacha, pleas ituvanti veidios up lode cheyavaddu ammavari svaroopam kadandi adi
Don't use any vinegar. Baking soda and vinegar don't go the vinegar will knock out what the baking soda is doing.
Ok so what was that in the spoon he put in the water? How hot does the water have to be? There are no instructions with this video. I am confused now.
Right on, vinegar and baking soda are chemical opposites and will neutralize each other...
love the music
Well there goes that
Didn't work well because the metal pan and the metal spoon. You don't need to boil on the stove so no need to have a burner proof dish. Corningwear, glass or even plastic lined with aluminum will work and boil your water in a tea kettle or microwave then add it to the dish with your silver already in place. Then add the baking soda and vinegar and just let it set until the water cools.
Other than than two things affect the outcome:
1) The amount of tarnish before cleaning. More tarnish may require repeat applications
2) The amount of real silver (Plate). It's the chemical reaction of the metalurgic properties of Aluminum and the baking soda against the silver that removes the tarnish.
My favorite was the music!
Sir how do know that how do silver polish steel pot
Since just about all US silver coins are collectibles, meaning they're worth sometimes MUCH more than their face value, doing this cleaning trick is a terrific way for you to LOOSE a lot of money. Making valuable coins worth less than a buck. What a pity this is shown in the video.
There's teapots & salt shakers in there too.... geez. Evvabody KNOW not to alter old coins!
Mike Gleason Yeah definitely destroyed any numismatic value those coins had as collectibles
What is that music in the background? I love it.
60's and early 70's porn background music
frank dillon totally!
Yep, good quality porn at that!

Thanks!
Never use vinegar with it, using baking soda powder is sufficient. By adding vinegar, you are causing the ring to oxidised somehow.
I experienced it with my silver ring.
Maybe it's in metal
measurements would be helpful
The silver doesn't really look clean after all that hastle...
Most tarnish removal methods (including the one above) will DAMAGE your silver. Instead, follow the advice of a professional silver conservator with over three decades of experience. Take a few minutes out of your day and read The Care of Silver which can be found here: www.hermansilver.com/care.htm. You and your silver will be very happy you did, I promise!
Can we boil our Murtis in the hot water.
as soon as she used a tooth brush she was done.
Whatever collector value those silver coins had has also been removed. Now they are "junk silver". NO collector value. Please DO NOT do this to any collectable coin! Think I'm kidding? As any collector about cleaning coins.
steve navine and y
S.J. N. I agree never on good silver PERIOD.

We're looking for cheap, diy, home remedy type methods....not intricate expensive retail-chain type $$$ polishes & chastising about minute, teeny-tiny scratches & what type of freekn cotton pads to use, man, for G's sakes!

Wow, I could not get some of my silver plated items clean. I used ash from my incense burner! It totally made them shine again, got all the scale from when i accidentally put them in soapy bleach water! Thanks for the tip. Now i don't throw away the ash i save it!
Don't even need vinegar..
Vinegar makes it go faster.

Rakhi ji aapka video accha hai , pr Ganesh Lakshmi ji ki pujan hue murtiyon ko ubalte pani mai rakhna bilkul galat hai bahut paap hai . .
Koi bhi aisa na karen , nimboo & salt mila k lagane se b murti saaf ho jaegi or natural hone se dosh bhi nhi lagega . .
Do not worry about the idol, but be worried about yourself worshipping an object that can be destroyed. There is one true God only. Jehovah. Call on Yeshua (Jesus). He can save you and He will never be destroyed

Music not needed how about words?
It smells bad. I'm not sure how to describe the smell.
Oh my god...........devudi vigrahala.baboiiiiiiiiii.chi chi....
Waaaay to damn slow for simple instructions
3 1/2 minutes is a lifetime for you?
Your silver looks ruined after what you just did.
A poorly done video with no instruction or good result.
Did you not watch? You saw all the ingredients at the beginning, and if you watched the video, you saw the process, step by step...
Lol this is cleaning? Seriously 😒
Terrible music sorry
Baking soda and vinegar cancel each other out. And if your silver coins have any value, scratching them with a toothbrush will render them worthless from a numismatic point of view.
உன் அறிவுல ஆணியடிக்க; சாமி சிலைய கொதிக்கவிட்ற! அப்ரம், vinegar ஊதினா silver-finishing நாசமாபோய்டும் எரும!
