Maratón Patinaje Chamberi 2024

On Sunday, 16th of June, the second marathon of the LIGA DE MARATONES DE PATINAJE DE MADRID 2024 took place in Chamberí.
This was also the second time I started for my new team, CP Desliza Vitoria. But this time with a fancy new maillot, AND with a teammate, who happens to be Patxi Peula.
Due to technical difficulties (a power outage), we had no sound, no speaker and the chips didn't work.
There was also a little confusion at the start, since we were told to wait 1 minute, but suddenly everyone moved. Hence, I turned back and screwed up the start. It didn't matter, however, since I thought I was getting a cold (turns out, it is Covid), so I skated on low intensity. Also, I only skated the 21 km, since I'm in no shape of doing 42 km in a decent time.
As always, nice people and good weather.
I've got no ranking due to the aforementioned power loss, but I can tell that Patxi won the men's marathon. :)
Date: 16. June, 9 am
Distances: 10 km, 21 km, 42 km (plus Kids&Family later)
Skaters: Roughly 500
Difficulty: Easy (no strong descent, no difficult turns), just be careful with the vents (they are properly marked).
