Thank you for watching! Happy Crocheting :)
ok but think about this idea “using up a cubicle of yarn” video. so every square on your shelves that’s filled with yarn, you use up in one video and then eventually your shelves will be empty for MORE YARN❤
Love this idea! 😊
love it!!!!
Fun idea! 😂❤
This has my vote!
How do I bump this.
I could watch this video idea over and over again!!
“Watch me use up all this random yarn I just bought” and even with shopping footage lol.
Or maybe Cesar picks out yarns for you sometimes. Just warn him of Caron Simply Soft first 😅
same!!!
Oooooo yes! Involving Cesar if you’d like!
Didn't finish watching and I already know I want more videos like this. "Crochet what I bought today" video. ❤
Yes same for me!! Loved this video!
With the pumpkin yarn, I like the idea of making literal pumpkins as decorations. Plenty of patterns (free and paid online) Easier than Ami and it’s never too early for fall 😊
I love this idea! I love crocheted pumpkins!
And go up another hook size or two to make it easier on you
i literally use that yarn for pumpkins lol it’s the perfect yarn for that and was going to suggest it
I don't know why we all get so much satisfaction out of watching you go through yarn, but it's just great. 😂 As happy as it makes me, you would think it was me being super productive.
Agree!!
Hi, Kelsie! l'm from Russia, apologize in advance for my English. I just wanted to say that every time I see your videos, my hands reach for the hook and yarn, even though it's four in the morning. You really inspire me to be creative. Thank you!!!
😂😂 Yarn-therapy is definitely my weakness. It's spilling out of the yarn room
I love this, I would love more of such videos like 'here is a random bag of yarn let's try to use it all'!
sameee
VIDEO SERIES IDEA: each video of this series could be using up the yarn you don’t know what to use it for? 😂 like each video you have to take a skein from your crazy corner pile and have to figure out what to use it for!
Ithink the're more random yarn in her cubis than in the floor but good idea.
Searching fun pattern (free or that you already buy) to use is for would be useful to empty the background shelves.
oooo !! you should get caesar to go in your yarn room and get like 6/7 random different skeins from your piles in a bag and basically do this video again but seeing how much yarn you can get rid of in the process from his mystery bag 😂 love this type of video though, super fun to watch and crochet along 😊💖
the little octopus guy is absolutely adorable
You honestly have no idea how funny you are, I swear
I’ve never been bored by your videos! I think it would be awesome if you went through and made things from one cubby and then moved to the next cubby and so on, you’d get the yarn out of the way and make tons of stock! That would make it easy for you to reorganize your yarn and get it off your floor too ☺️ whatever you do I’m here for it 😂 keep being you that’s what we’re here for! ❤
I enjoy watching you make the same things; you make cool stuff! And tops, scrunchies, bags, bandanas, etc is a lot more varied than the 3 plushies I make on repeat 😂
Joann's have a super sale!!! I got yarn for .97 cents and lily's sugar and cream for 1.49
I would totally buy a bandana that has both the sage and the burnt orange (Bretta? Subtitles can be hinky); those colors together would be gorge. Also, Negi(?) is one of the cutest pups I have ever seen in my life.
It's okay to donate yarn you don't like.
I just bought it!
The burnt orange one is called Bruschetta!
Hiiii thanks you so much for all the work you put into your videos! I think reviewing lots of Amazon hooks would make an entertaining video if you ever need any ideas!❤❤
15 bandannas in just over a day? You are just amazing! Great way to make some cash! Go girl!
Her videos make me wanna crochet all the time ❤️☺️
All. The. Time
Neji lazing around is mandatory ❤
And staring…always staring… 😂
You don’t have a yarn problem. You have a yarn storage problem. You just need more cubbies. Problem solved.
I’m so addicted to your videos. I could binge watch all day and night loll ❤❤❤
I have been making Granny square blankets, bucket ruffle hat's, chap stick holder's, wash cloths, and scrunchies. 😊
The ivory, sage, and bruschetta colors are such a perfect cottagecore palette I'm screaming. TTATT!!!
Separate the big yarn piles into smaller bags and use those slowly, it makes it less scary
Yay another very PassioKnit vlog ❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Video idea: once you finish with your "make everything in one color" videos you could try "make everything in multiple colors" perhaps using color theory to choose your color palettes? like complementary, tertiary, analogous, etc.
Hi Kelsey, could you make pumpkins out of the velvet yarn for fall or Halloween time.
Love watching you and your beautiful dogs.xx
❤❤❤❤❤ very beautiful❤❤❤ love this beauty so much ❤ I literally watch your channel everyday ❤❤❤❤
1️⃣.Their's never enough yarns to buy.
2️⃣. Their's never #passionknit Kelsie to watch.
And...
3️⃣. Theirs definitely never, ever enough #crochet projects to make.
✨️🧶✨️🧶✨️🧶✨️🧶✨️🧶✨️🧶✨️
For the orange velvet yarn you can make pumpkins. There's a free pattern for some that are easy, quick and adorable
Hi Kelsie,
I have been a huge fan for so long and I wanted to say that i really loved this video and all of your videos!!!! Keep doing your thing!!!!
Not like I'm an enabler or anything but... why don't you just by more shelves/storage for your overflow?
She doesn’t have enough room
With the 🧡 ORANGE 🧡 yarns, you should make one of those mini #crochetbags made using the #singlecrochetstitch it will sell in a second and use a toggle button to close the top. It's just an 💡 idea 💡 and sometimes different.
My hobby lobby today had SO MUCH clearance yarn. I got 14 skeins for $22
You should try big twist cotton mini skeins they are kinda like lily sugar in cream but cheaper!!!
I think the Billy shelf from IKEA would fit in the corner in between the door and the existing 3x3 cubes. May be a solution if you know you can’t get through the yarn explosion anytime soon and want it off the floor. And it fits the vibe of your existing cubes. It’s not a cube obviously but it looks one column that would match the shelves behind your chair.
Not buying yarn is almost impossible for me so I just buy more storage 😂
Wow, 6 minutes ago?! I’ve never been this early! Love your vlogs and videos!
Use 7 or even 8 mm hook with the orange yarn and it hopefully will be easier to crochet with
i love your videos im almost done with granny sqare b;lanket!!! have a good day
I just wanted to say, I adore your octopuses so much! Maybe if you don’t like that one you should try another pattern!
The moment you stuffed Octavious the Octopus, I went "Wait, his eyes!!!"
An idea for the orange velvet, mini pumpkins 🎃😊
I crochet mainly amigurumi crocheter and you have recently inspired me to make wearable and I am having so much fun doing it
I've used yarnbee velvet to make scrunchies. I do 35 sc for the first row, and instead of triples, do doubles.
And absolutely use a 9mm don't use an 8 or a 10 just a straight up 9 like it suggests.
if you're looking to use up yarn you should make a video where you pick like three random skeins of yarn from your stash and have to make something out of them
Watching these during my lunch breaks make my days so much better ❤
Have you done a "x amount of time of not buying yarn and only using what I have" challenge? xD This video made me think of it. Could do like two weeks or a month if you want to really push yourself, haha. If you did a month, I'd just post as normal, and not make it one video, so you don't go insane x'D The bandanas came out great though! :D
كل سنه وانتي طيبه، وحشتيني ❤
Good haul with all the bandanas. You more than paid for all your yarn purchases with your bandanas--$240. Good job.
Watching through all of the ads just for that little extra support 🎉
Within 1 hour gang❤❤👇🏼👇🏼
"Well, this bruschetta is going to be bandanas." 😅
Maybe give that orange velvet another chance with the larger recommended hook size. 🧡 Thanks for sharing your hard work with us, another great video! 🎉
Caesar doing a happy dance while at brunch is so relatable 😂❤
Hey crochet bestie
MAKE A YARN REORGANIZATION VIDEOOOOOOOO
Im in the Uk and dont know where to get yarn. Any suggestions? i know Hobby Craft and Home Bargains, but i have tarn from there already, and js is quite pricey.
15 Bandanas = $240
1 Scrunchie = ???
1 Octopus = ???
Does anyone knows the price on those?
I love knowing the total retail price she can get for the $36 material cost.❤
I love the pastell-rainbow bandana with the babyblue border!!🥹🥹
Such a cute colour combination!!
*points at Neji*
"Uh...thats not it"
My fav part
Kelsie I so enjoy your sense of humor 👍🏻🥰🧶🧶🧶👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Were watching the whole Modern Family (all seasons)!!
I think the pumpkin velvet yarn would be great for slippers. Because it's dense they would hold their shape well and provide softness on your feets!
what if you make the cupcozy @Mrsmoonandheaven makes with the orange velvet?
I worked at Joann’s for a year and after quitting I realized how much it contributed to my problem. I have saved SO MUCH MONEY not being in that place, so maybe that’s something to think about! I also have a wall about as big as yours in the back full of yarn, so I’ve been forcing myself to use what I have before getting anything new. Obviously that’s easier said than done, but making scrap projects has helped sooo much. Scrap cardigans, pants, hats, etc… the pile is getting lower which makes me feel like I’m allowed to actually purchase new stuff, but still only as long as I have a GENUINE PLAN for it
it's rly satisfying to see you work thru a chunk of "extra yarn" like this. maybe you could do it again with one of the smaller bags on your floor?
The one time I tried following your scrunchie tutorial, I used this exact Yarn Bee velvet yarn. I HATED how dense the scrunchie came out, and honestly thought I did something completely wrong. I'm SO relieved it's the yarn's fault--not mine. 😂
Yum!! We went there in March after attending my sister's funeral😢 in Liberty. It was sooooo good!
Newer subscriber here! I LOVE watching the how many skeins can I get through in X time! Would be fun to number the skeins, project ideas, or bags then randomly pick a number to work through!
I made a deal with myself that I can buy new yarn if I have a project in mind to use it... It's REALLY hard, I failed sometimes... And I'm trying to get rid of my stash too, your tops are really helping me with this one ❤❤
Unpopular opinion: I didn’t like the JC yarn… at all. I only bought 2 skeins for a plushie I had to make, and idk if it was a bad lot or what. It felt flat if that makes sense? Like the fibers only came out of 2 sides of the middle string. Anyways, your crochet vlogs NEVER MISS and I look forward to every post!
How about some pumpkins with the orange yarn? Good for Halloween and/or Thanksgiving. ❤
Hi. You can make a pumpkin by crocheting a flat panel, cinch the bottom with drawstring, fill them cinch the top with the velvety yarn.
That's so funny I do amigurumi and I just don't understand how to make clothing. ( except beanies) That's why I love watching your videos it is therapy but I wanna organize your yarn so bad 😂😭
Good job. Breaking this bad habit is hard. We yarn/fabric crafters tend to accumulate yarn/fabric because so many are beautiful !
In the beginning it was especially hard for me because I didn't know what I prefer to work with and bought a tonne of different kind of affordable yarn...
Continue lke this Kelsie with buying yarn with a project(s) in mind is the best way to go (^v^)b
I feel like on all craft supplies it is so easy to over buy it and then the project only uses a small amount.
I know its that way with fabric for me. I can go and buy 10 yards of fabric. But most of the bag projects I have only take 1 yard maybe 2 yards at the most. I can only sew 1-2 bags a week between my full time job.
Girl - I got 1500 worth for 300
But yeah same- where to put it?! Sadly, for the price it should have been- it’s not as much as you’d think 😢
Beautiful colored scarfs. Try a pumpkin out of the orange yarn. You did a great job.
The orange cotton with sage green border would make such a cute bandana. It would give off pumpkin patch vibes for fall!
I need to figure out the picot border instead of shells on the bandanas. I like it better! Good job using up yarn!
What a shame about the velvet yarn, I LOVED the color!
It made me think of some yarn I got from a friend a long time ago. It was lambswool.. I had been crocheting for maybe a couple of months when I got the yarn.. I have now been crocheting for almost 4 years.. I still have the lambswool... It's SO thin and breaks so easily... But I LOVE the color, and I am determent to make something out of it! I may have to double the tread, but one day it's going to be something. Lol.
Hi Kelsie 👋 as someone who also can't make plushies too often, maybe try making hair bows (just a bunch of chains then tied), a neckerchief, or maybe a chunky bucket hat (brunaticality has a good fuzzy bucket hat tutorial!)
Hello, Kelsey! The video was wonderful! I have an idea for this orange velour yarn. maybe make a pillow with a zipper, if there is enough yarn for this? or a scarf/snood?
Velvet bucket hats? Could work when you guys start heading back into the cooler weather...
That yarn is good with 5.5 hook or 6 mm. Ami can be fun but it depends on the yarn. The smaller the hook the harder it will be make it with plush yarn.
Kellie, maybe crochet some kind of home decor "pumpkins" with the velvet yarn!
My yarn I use for scrunchies has changed, way much thicker. I'm going to use it for twisted earwarmers. I have 2 bags besides me, one with cotton and the other with colours to crochet a non binary colour hexy cardy. I got a gift card for Hobbycraft for my birthday the other day. What do I do? Buy rainbow yarns. No will power ha ha. Great amount of bandanas. Thank you for sharing
Damn I'm early for once!!!!
Gonna be watching this while waiting on my bus
Awesome work! I may have visited both Hobby Lobby and JoAnn's this week and bought more yarn too 🤭🤫🫣
I have a couple ideas for quick videos you can edit/film.
1. Chop up all your granny stitch cardigan videos into smaller videos for specific parts i.e how to make cuffs, how to attach the back panels, how to make the hood, how to decrease the sleeves etc. I’m working on a pullover and a lot of the instructions are split between a few videos it would be helpful if they were separate short videos
2. Since you always say you don’t know what to make during colour videos maybe do short videos testing easy free patterns. I mentioned before on another video the granny stitch beret pattern from the yarnspirations website. It was super quick and easy to make. And I also grabbed a whole stack of patterns off their website. Maybe grab some of that yarn that you bought without a project in mind and pair it up with a free pattern?
A little tip for the safety eyes, if you are having trouble getting the backs on, you can heat them slightly with a lighter (please be careful if you do), and I recommend using a pair of pliers to hold them so you don’t burn yourself. Just pop them on while their still warm and its SO much easier. Definitely not as convenient, but it does the trick! (Please use caution if anyone tries this💕)
Kelsie..im going to be really real and honest with you. I adore you and your videos..and i really dont want to be that person but its something i gotta say. Can you please not use my Lord's Name in vain? Please...i know this is your channel and you can do whatever you want , i know this is a me problem..but can you try? Thank you Kelsie
I enjoyed this video. You could return the one skein of orange and get more cotton yarn. Seems like that is a better profit margin anyway 😊. I don't mind watching the same product being made. It is your business after all. $222 profit from everything you put up for sale today, not bad 😊.
I have returned yarn exactly once in my life, bitnthats my suggestion for the orange velvet. Or. Make a granny square blanket with a nice big hook and donate to an animal shelter 🤷🏼♀️
Yes I agree, that orange velvet yarn is difficult to work with. So far that’s the brand I’ve had trouble with. I crochet amigurumi and I know my tension is tight but I didn’t have trouble with other velvets. But I managed to use what I had bought lol.
Please make a larger octopus with larger hook size!? Use all you have left and make a big daddy octopus or other larger item even a small neck pillow?
KELSIE when are we getting Leter B for the alphabetical restock vid I’m still waiting and I think the rest of us are too but love you girl you go love you outfit btw
Reorganizing takes time. Wouldn't you really rather crochet or knit? 🧶😂
I’m so glad you tried out that velvet yarn so I don’t buy it for scrunchies. I didn’t know it existed and was excited that they have fall colors, since Bernat colors aren’t autumnal at all…but I’ll pass, thanks to you!
Make a video using scrap yarn for striped or granny themed projects like the bandannas you made in this video. 🫶🏽
FYI. The patterned ILTY and ILTC have less yardage than the solid coloured ones.
