@@growdaddy4281 I moved from Melbourne’s bayside to the Gold Coast ten years ago.
Worst move I ever made.
@@growdaddy4281 lock down was great, ask any Melburnian. Most were getting paid to work from home, save heaps of money from not going out and relaxing all day 😂
As an Aussie who lives close to Melbourne I can say that you absolutely nailed this series about Australian food. You described our food culture better than most Australians haha
Well it's not Australian food when immigrants/migrants from other countries and brought their culinary dishes to these cities that didn't have anything special before. And this is not Australian food culture. Stop saying that! These are cultural food dishes that a person can expect when visiting Melbourne.
@@disguiseddv8ant486 Australian culture is an amalgamation of many cultures, it is what defines us as a multicultural nation. You're just getting stuck on semantics
Finally you've come to Melbourne, enjoy the food here Mark!
I'm so happy to see you showing off some of Australia's incredible food scene.
Hey Mark, am glad u r visiting the land down under. I’m a Thai who have been living in Sydney for 45 years. Will you be visiting Sydney by any chance? You will love the harbour city that has its own very multi cultural eateries, not to mention the beautiful coastal walks and beaches.
He went to Sydney this was in April
Watching this video definitely makes me want to visit Melbourne. Looks like a beautiful place. Especially the Barge with the swimming pool. Look like a great nightlife spot.
as a proud melbournian foodie, I have to say good picks in every category. Bravo Mark
Loved your Melbourne food tour. I live in Melbourne and have been to Hector's. It is really good. You described the location I believe in South Melbourne. You forgot to mention the second location which looked wonderful. I think it was St Kilda. The other locations were described very well. Thank you very enjoyable.
Absolutely exceptional vlog start to finish !!! Very hard to pick a favorite without tasting all the dishes . Truely mouth watering stuff ausi 😍👋🇳🇿
I've been to Melbourne many times and you've created a new bucket list of food I need to try. 😂 Thanks Mark!
Okay mark I loved the look of that beef sandwich, the the crispy codfish and the fish and chips says it all for me. What a good looking piece of fish!
25:53 Mark walking straight through that ozzy's conversation and him giving the classic "god damn RUclipsrs" has made my day
Mark Wiens good job for showing us Australia and the food.
Thanks!
Whole video is filled with mouth watering food amazing video 🔥🔥🔥
OMG I can’t believe I missed you while you in my home town 😫 I hope you enjoyed all the culinary delights 🤩
I loved this Australian episode so much Mark! Truly a spot on representation of our incredible food culture here. Fresh and Delicious 😋
There's a reason why this guy deserves 10M subs. I've grew up in Melb from 3 to now 24, yet i haven't explored many of these places. Insane research
I want to go to Australia now.
Amazing to see how much you guys can eat in one day.
Get their ! It's an incredible place . Sydney and Melbourne are very different but neck and neck at the finish line 💯
@@jaredford8440😅they're very different, they shouldn't even be in the same race. Victoria has a big dairy production while Sydney has better access to tropical produce from the north. It's good that we're so different.
We love you Mark and enjoy watching your videos with your kids. We love your enthusiasm for food!! Hmmmmmm 🤤
Ohhh looks so good. Love to see Mark Wiens expression when he takes his first bite 😍😍😍
He BITES??? I have a only seen him jam whole chunks in with his hands!!
Cannot wait to try Komur when I’m in Melbourne next, looks amazing!
Hi Mark
I live in Melbourne and you have hit up some great Melbourne spots. Though i know your style, and i hope you managed to get to outback Australia, hang out with some of the Aboriginal people and experience some bush tucker. Outback plants & veggies, kangaroo cooked over an open fire, damper, bush stews and some witchery grubs..
Witchery grubs? yuck, do you want him to stay away?
Some shrimp on the Barbie?
Honestly aboriginal food is a must btw that’s just a slogan on the comment on shrimp we just call it prawns
That's exactly what I was thinking, if he hasn't visited the outback, then he hasn't really seen all of Australia
@@justins7666 knowing mark he would love it

a good aussie fish and chips experience isn't complete without seagulls swooping at you. Glad they came out for you! 😂😂
I love the sound of French fries, just out of the fryer, being tossed in a metal bowl. The crunchy sound of the guy ish when you bite into it makes you salivate as well.
