Sang this at least three times in high school...twice at All County, and once for a normal school concert. Favorite Latin piece. Really great for diction work too!

Ahhhh! I remember back in the 90s when all the choirs were doing this! Still a GREAT song! Definitely the best Sanctus out there! And this is a very nice interpretation; a bit more staccato than I'm used to, but that's the beauty of music! So much room for interpretation.
The choir at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Fayetteville, AR, is singing this on November 20, 2011. It helps this alto learn her part to hear this excellent group sing it so well (though I hope our choir director takes the tempo down a bit; with changing back and forth between 4/4, 6/8 & 10/8 it leaves me a bit breathless!) This song is soooo fun, im a freshman and we are learning it for the school concert and WSMA. Im an alto for this song , but i can also sing 2 seprano, alto 1, and alto 2.
The soprano part sounds hard, and I'm thinking about auditioning for county chior. This is the audition song. Does anyone have any tips on how to sing the song??
Haley Anderson its actually pretty easy. Just focus on dynamics and pronunciation. If you're a first soprano this is in your range. Its not actually that high of a song.
