- Giving My Koi A Salt Bath *Fin Rot Issues*
After noticing some fin rot on my Shiro Bekko Koi, I give it a salt bath using rock salt suitable for koi and koi ponds. I also dose the pond with Acriflavine to help with any bacterial issues.

heres a tip to dissolve salt use some hot water first

Unfortunately mate looks to be dropsy I think it would be best to eithanize it
I thought same tbh . But it's died now anyway unfortunately. I've got more with fin rot mate . Been treating before they get worse amd salt bathing.
@@Sharpeyskoi it's a nightmare mate I had fin rot on a few last year had to do a strong CT in the end
@progressivepondkeeping did you manage get on top of it? All survived? I've dosed with acrifavin but may need to do again

@Sharpeyskoi cos fish is week so could get moro problem some time best just to take it of pond and save all over fish or my mite be lucky

This is the one that's now died mate, think dropsy in the end . I'm just behind with my videos. now I've got more with fin rot .

@yorkshirekoi2246 no mate , its on auto focus . I didn't realise it wasn't focusing at that particular time until I came to edit
