Yup. I drove truck professionally and tbh I don't miss the idiots. Worst case I had when I looked down and saw a car beside me when I was entering a blind left hander. 5km up the road saw his car in the middle of a paddock and he was walking out of it
I've learned not to judge people while driving. I'm normally very safe on the road, and I used to judge other drivers who made mistakes around me. Until I almost hit someone at a roundabout, I didn't see them coming from the right. I learned that even the safest of drivers still make mistakes. Just because they cut you off or blocked you at an intersection doesn't mean they're a bad driver, everyone makes mistakes, and it's important we learn from them!
The Sockburn round about is 2 lanes the whole way around so the outside lane is needed to be used to exit off onto the 3 single lane roads. The other two exits are onto Main South road which are both dual lane. He is not the first to do it and won't be the last
Lived in Christchurch for 4 years [pre-earthquake] and the terms 'boy racers' and 'hooning' were initially new to me. I soon related to these concepts and used to enjoy watching these tossers revving up their egos at the traffic lights. There are just so many c***s in the world that it seems more effective to laugh about it than let it get to you [if possible]. Every country has them however some places seem to have a lot more than others
Invercargill has some bad and dangerous drivers as well, yes even here in the smaller city of Invercargill we have a few dangerous and bad drivers as well, well at least no where as much as Christchurch or Auckland, but it does happen here and there around Invercargill, it's usually always roundabout close calls I see happening, imagine one reason some guy is moving from Auckland or Christchurch to Invercargill or Timaru is because of the large amount of dangerous drivers
Kiwis have such an adversarial approach to road use. They're terrible drivers but quick to blame the tourists. No formal lessons required. Just pick up and pass on your dad's bad habits.
I experience lots of drivers like everyday getting close and fast on my tail even if I'm travelling the correct speed limit, looking so impatient. They make me feel pressured to have to get out of their way, despite doing the wrong thing. I do wish they would adhere to speed signs more, so as to show they know their meanings, (as they're obviously there for a reason). And drive to them. I've even experienced impatience from them when driving in zones of 30km, especially on narrow roads. And I hate to worry about the increase of danger they're creating. Even when speed signs are lowered, they still don't seem to care.
I drive fuel tankers in Chch and recognise all the roads. I could actually predict what most people were going to mess up in this video as it happens so often. It is just lazy driving. If you can't be bothered to do it properly stay off the road. Cheers for the video mate 👏👏👏
Wellington is one of the worst. Everyone is rude, entitled, and clueless. They either sit on 60kmh in the right hand lane on a nice day, or they sit on 100kmh when road is flooded and absolutely pissing down. And don't get me started at everyone doing 80 in a 100 then speed up as soon as they are approaching a passing lane. 🤷♂️
You will have to show us your regular Queenstown drivers :) I have been down that way several times but other than lack of parking found it not too bad.
Yeah.. no. Auckland drivers are far better. I was born there, and I've lived in Christchurch for many years. Christchurch drivers are some of the worst I've ever seen.
3:38 This is the best
A taxi runs the light, and the ad playing on the radio says "get there first, with first direct taxi's"
Christchurch is really the worst place to drive in NZ
no nz drivers are bad everywhere, just like the aussies,or indians
It's so funny regonising all these roads great content mate
Kiwi drivers are shockingly bad. Too many people dying on our roads :(

But why though?? Why is there so many drivers that are totally clueless.

I agree everyone can make a mistake, and by showing this I hope it helps people think about driving.
Correct me if im wrong, but to me it seems like the ford at 3:31 is just following the normal procedure?

We dont do it to annoy people mate, just fun 👍
Cry about it
who hurt you? I bet your cuckass wishes he had a nice car
I live in that place and I haven't have a single accident
Damn, that is considered as NORMAL in a civilized country
You wanna try Welly m8. Motorway in the pouring rain and a majority of people doing 100kph with a 1 car following distance

Well, that is not hart to achieve with this amount of idiot drivers in Christchurch@@StrikeFirstChampion
I love everyone’s music taste in this video ahah
Weird to think how so many of these are right next to my house! Especially the roundabouts before the motorway

I guess west coast didn't want that guy at 2.22
Of course it's an Outlander. They're almost killed me 3 times, not to mention. Cutting me off, changing lanes at the last second. Worst drivers
Damned if I can remember where the button for the 50mm anti-materiel cannon is in my car. The times I've needed it.
LOL

I can relate to you, I used to do around 3500kms a week around the South Island every week.

Sheep in auto pilot mode
Lived in Akl especailly in south auckland, was rewa but Chch is worse than there. I give up to drive in rush hour. Busing is stress free~
Most of the years are inaccurate
The date defaults from time to time
@@202ToranaMan that makes sense
There are shit drivers everywhere. Christchurch isn't particularly bad compared to any of the places I've driven around NZ and the world.
So the car at the end your just complaining how low it is??
Actually, how dumb the driver was, what do you think was hitting the road?
Vtec never kicked in at 2:30
Asian dude at 4:06 must want a free shower
your typical morons
Its only the Holden drivers that cant drive
I reckon Queenstown is 10x worse
You will have to show us your regular Queenstown drivers :) I have been down that way several times but other than lack of parking found it not too bad.
Queenstown is fine. Tha cars are too nice to risk denting. Christchurch is bogan-central. Nothing worth protecting.
3 through that red turn light 🚦 was pretty bad/illegal.
Yep, pretty bad
Auckland , hold my beer.
Yeah.. no. Auckland drivers are far better. I was born there, and I've lived in Christchurch for many years. Christchurch drivers are some of the worst I've ever seen.
Na it's Auckland
Not at all. Auckland drivers are far better.
