Hiking the Unmaintained Stretch of Norway Lake Road Into Puzzle Lake Provincial Park

    It's been 15 years or longer since I last walked this stretch of Norway Lake Road so I am keen to hike it again. This rough and tumble, often flooded stretch of road, heads north into the central part of Puzzle Lake Provincial Park. However, I am not exploring the park per say and not leaving the road itself during this hike.

    Excellent video! Great, that you were able to rediscover this little gem of a road/trail. I imagine many trail details came back to you. It does appear very rustic, and more ATV friendly. Than best for walking. Plus seems ideal for mosquitoes. Very attractive nonetheless! Thank you for sharing this trek! Pat

    Prairie Warbler is a great find there! I've submitted this sighting to the Ontario Breeding Bird Atlas3.

      Hi Tom. Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Yah I wasn’t sure if others had seen them here or not being so close to Sheffield CA. One positive benefit of the power line clearing. 😊
