It’s nice to live in the city we use to live way back 80s when my grandmother have an apartment in Front of CEntral Phillipine University, sometimes we spent in our town house but we choose to live in our farmland 7 kilometers away from our town to take care and now we are happy managing our agricultural projects,..Fresh air , more on natures .

Did you know.Iloilo became the last capital of the Spanish colonial government in the Philippines after they have capitulated Manila to the Americans.
On 5 October 1889, due to the economic development that was happening in Iloilo, the Queen Regent of Spain raised the status of the town into the Royal City.
During the Commonwealth era, Iloilo was prosperous and was popularly known as "THE QUEEN CITY OF THE SOUTH",The title is a moniker of the previously bestowed decree... by the Queen Regent Maria Cristina of Spain in 1896: "La Muy Leal y Noble Ciudad de Iloilo".
Iloilo was the second Spanish colonial center after Cebu in the Philippine Islands. It was founded in 1566 when the Spanish established a colony area between the towns of Ogtong (present-day Oton) and La Villa Rica de Arevalo.
In the coming of the Americans also in the turn of the 20th century, institutions like Central Philippine University (the first Baptist and 2nd private American university in Asia and in the country); Jaro Evangelical Church (the first Baptist church in the country); Iloilo Mission Hospital (the first Protestant hospital in the country); and the Convention of Philippine Baptist Churches (the oldest Baptist organizational body in the Philippines); where established.

This is more Singapore-like feel compared to Cebu City. The streets are so wide.
Only Mandurriao Street are wide road but the rest are small.. but for me Cebu is more progressive they have plenty project development... compare to iloilo.. and if u compare to busiess district i choose Cebu...
What the heck you guys stop comparing each other... The relevant thing there is the changes of both cities.... Iloilo city has its own potential while cebu is on progress... Is there any problem about that ?
Iloilo is beautiful but why do you guys always reference Cebu or compare your city to our city everytime there are videos posted about your city on the internet? I think that whole "next singapore" concept is totally irrelevant 🤣 the fact is? None of them is singapore like city period.
