I will never not hate the final Luca Blight series of battles. I bought my physical copy used and it was fairly scratched up. The first time I tried that sequence I got defeated in the party battle phase. The second time I succeeded but the game froze up in the victory story sequence before I could save so I had to do it all over again.
Now that sounds frustrating as hell. The Luca Blight fights can be a real pain on your first playthrough, game freezing up on top of that sounds like a nightmare. Personally I think it's one of the best and most memorable scenes in the whole series.
Intresting! I thought the demo was part of the game. But the demo was specially programmed.🤔 And I don't understand the choice of characters. why Siegfried and Sierra? In my opinion a lot of Spoiler. 🤔
The demo had two different modes. The normal game which allowed you to play the games story up to the Mist Monster on North Sparrow Pass, and Battle Mode. Battle Mode is a unique mode only available in the demo and it's what the video is showing. I'm not sure why they chose the characters they did for the demo. It's a strange selection for sure though.

I'd love a roguelite mode. Pick up random characters as you go, random runes, chance to find blacksmith etc.
Roguelites aren't really my thing, but that sounds kind of fun.
