One of the best things about Johan's singing is that it is VERY articulate! It is really easy to hear what he is singing and it never takes away from the heavyness or epicness, it only adds to it!

definitely one of their better song in the recent discography! I love their old school stuff so much, from their early demos up to "Fate of Norns" it is a gold mine! 'Valkyries Ride' 'The Sound of Eight Hooves' 'The Last With Pagan Blood' just to name a few \m/

AA played here in Australia back in March for Knotfest. 3 shows, 30k people each show. Would have been a solid 50% of the crowd down on the ground rowing during this song.

Nice song, great video. That said...nobody likes a good snarl better than me, but if you growl the entire song I think you diminish the effectiveness of the technique. It's like using the "f" word in every sentence. After a while, it loses the power to shock. It's like restricting a string section to doublebass only. Think Epica, with the contrast between Jansen's growls, the keyboardist's screams, and Simone's contributions. Much more effective.
On the other hand, while listening to this song I keep seeing Floor in Viking regalia and...oh well.
