But how dark does it have to be? Wich brush? Cream or powder? Ugh. But I can't get over how freaking ugly the handles are and how bulky they look. What on earth were they thinking??!

I so agree with you about making "cheaper" products work better with good tools, techniques, and primers/preps. Drugstore products have really improved but there are still some hits and misses. Great video!

Bubba You should first start off by knowing what your skin type is and go from there, experiment with lots of different products and see what works for u. It took me some time to get to where I am in makeup. But its all fun!💕

That Profusion Mirage pallet is EVERYTHING! I have it and can’t get enough of it. It has lots of warm orange, pink, purple, burgundy mattes and also some BEAUTIFUL shimmers, including about 4 duo-chromes. It is AWESOME! Even a Morphe palle is pricy in comparison to Profusion $13!!!! Can’t beat that!
I FINALLY got my hands on Elf Hydrating concealer and I LOVE IT! It really went off shelf as soon as it was put out. Love ya girl...you are gorgeous and so sweet...ya remind of my daughters😇😇😇🥰🥰🥰

It all depends on the brushes you use, so using the right brushes are essential for applying your make up!! I'm more advanced in my make up!! My skin doesn’t like foundation and I had been using Bare Minerals powder and that seems to work, but I wanted to try something new that’ll also work. This does the job! My color match is perfect and it feels like there’s nothing on my skin. I’m so glad I found your channel!

I use the Elf putty primer too and I also use alot. It is the more I use the better my skin looks. I can use that and the Believe beauty radiant primer, a little mascara and brows and look fresh and healthy

About a week ago I went into cvs just looking around at the makeup and I spotted joah cosmetics. I had never tried anything from this brand so I picked one of their matte velvet lipsticks. When I tried this lipstick on I fell in love. The lipstick feels lightweight and comfortable on the lips it’s a very nice formula and I recommend. Each lipstick is also 6 dollars
I used to use drugstore makeup growing up and into early adulthood but then there was a time in my early 20s where I thought drugstore make up was crap and I had to have high and make up to have a good makeup look, but the drugstore comes through!! They have changed the game so much. Love Profusion and the eye look came out beautiful 😻😻💋💋
I use alot of these products from Walgreens. I really like NYX, ELF and wet n wild. Nyx bare with me multi tasker spray is a favorite also the NYX suede lipstick.
I love the poreless putty primer, but i agree...the matte version is even better. I have combo skin also and i enjoy the wet n wild photofocus (not the smell) so i think i may end up trying the dewy version

Yaaaaassss girl! I’ve been trying to turn everyone on to Essence mascara for soooo long now! I’m a big fan of the I Love Extreme Volume mascara, but all the ones I’ve tried have been really good. I can’t believe I’ve spent so much time and money on high end mascaras, some of which don’t work as well as these! It is highly unlikely I will ever go back to using anything else.

About a week ago I went into cvs just looking around at the makeup and I spotted joah cosmetics. I had never tried anything from this brand so I picked one of their matte velvet lipsticks. When I tried this lipstick on I fell in love. The lipstick feels lightweight and comfortable on the lips it’s a very nice formula and I recommend. Each lipstick is also 6 dollars

I used to use drugstore makeup growing up and into early adulthood but then there was a time in my early 20s where I thought drugstore make up was crap and I had to have high and make up to have a good makeup look, but the drugstore comes through!! I love the poreless putty primer, but i agree...the matte version is even better. I have combo skin also and i enjoy the wet n wild photofocus (not the smell) so i think i may end up trying the dewy version

Yaaaaassss girl! I’ve been trying to turn everyone on to Essence mascara for soooo long now! I’m a big fan of the I Love Extreme Volume mascara, but all the ones I’ve tried have been really good. I can’t believe I’ve spent so much time and money on high end mascaras, some of which don’t work as well as these! It is highly unlikely I will ever go back to using anything else.
