and here I am getting destroyed by Flemmeth with a full party.
I thought a normal game without mods could kill Archdemon alone..
Great build, thanks for the demonstration. One question I have relates to your specialisation: is it worth going for the duelist tree over the ranger or assassin trees? I can see the +10 attack bonus being useful for a cunning rogue due to the lack of dex though pinpoint strike seems less useful due to its ridiculously long cooldown.
Tlevids Thank you.Cunning rogues benefit considerably from the little help in attack-rating that comes from Duelist, especially on higher difficulty settings. Having said that, if the priority is to make the whole party as formidable as possible, rather than optimizing solely the warden's capabilities, I think Ranger is the better choice.Out of the other two, I'd prefer 'Duelist' if the intent is to use autoattacks predominantly and remain at the fringes of the battlefield; and 'Assassin' if the rogue is a melee-ranged hybrid as most of its talents are melee-centric.
@@blazomancer but i thought that archer rouge are better with dexterity or i am just wrong?
@@CryonicCy If you want to maximize damage, CUNNING is preferable because of the Armor Penetration bonus and talents like Song of Courage and Tainted Blade. There are drawbacks to it though; you might miss quite a bit in the early game without party support. DEXTERITY has its own benefits like high Defense. It all boils down to how you want to play the game.
From Awakening onwards, DEXTERITY is the best choice because of Accuracy.
Cunning 107 I guess those tomes came in handy
Tomes account for only 5 of that, but then every point counts I guess.
Wow!!!
I love this. I will try this build. Do you by chance remember the gear that you used? ( I know this was done forever and a day ago) Rogue archer, dual wield Warrior, and two handed warrior are my favorite characters to play.
As far as I can remember, it was something like Far Song, Helm of Honnleath, Repeater Gloves, Felon's Coat, Cadash Stompers, Andruil's Blessing, The High Regard of House Dace, Key to the City, Dusk Ring.
@@blazomancer You're awesome. Thank you.
@@blazomancer I have never heard of Felon's Coat, Cadash Stompers, or The High Regard of House Dace. Thanks for the info!

I am playing again DAO and this time I want to archer rogue . Your archer is exactly what I want to play. Can you tell me your stats without items and fade points ? Because I couldnt find in the internet a better archer build. By the way it is an amazing demonstration.
Ümit Kabak Thanks. I don't have the game installed right now, and I don't remember the exact stats. But the basic idea was simple - invested as many points in DEX as is the prerequisite for Master Archer, and put everything else in CUNN.
thank you so much.
How did you get the extra quick bar slots?
It's the FtG Quickbar Mod (www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/2784/?).
please tell me what version of game is that?
+EowynGeorgia It's the Ultimate Edition on the PC, plus the Mods.
what is your 3d sustained ability
It's the Tainted Blade from the Warden's Keep DLC.
