Ik kan wat extra uitleg geven (doe ik wel in Engels voor je internationale volgers): There are problems with overcrowding on the platforms on Schiphol Airport (if you look closely platforms 1-2 and platform 3 are narrower than 4, 5 and 6 as they are situated in the original tunnel from the 70's, whereas 4-6 are situated in the new tunnel build in the 90's). The platforms were designed with much lower passenger numbers in mind (Amsterdam is now the 3rd largest airport in the world based on international passenger numbers). There is a huge project ongoing called MKS (Multimodale Knoop Schiphol) in which they are overhauling the entire multi-modal interchange to manage crowds. Part of that is to alleviate passengers towards the next to stations Amsterdam-Zuid and Hoofddorp. That is btw one of the other reasons why the Airport Sprinter calls at Hoofddorp (apart from the convenient located rail yard after Hoofddorp). In the future an extended Noord-Zuid Metro Line towards Hoofddorp would alleviate the overcrowding on the platforms by taking passengers towards Amsterdam city centre out of the train system and into the local PT-system. It will then be likely that this train service will then be downgraded back to 4 or 6 times an hour so there will be extra capacity for Intercity trains and International trains in the Schipholtunnel and on the Westtak towards Amsterdam Centraal. More on what the future system around Amsterdam looks like can be found in the Ministry's plan called "OV Toekomstbeeld 2040". Based on my information I think you can do some more videos in the future haha! Veel succes!
Once it runs at full frequency ima go to see it, genuinely great change in my opinion and i hope it is super successful. Also the wind of the intro reminds me of the wind a couple days ago lol, full adults were fighting to not be swept away by the wind hahaha
