Thanks for posting this Kool performance. When listen to song, the memories of just hanging out on some Sundays in the afternoon in my grand mother's house hearing TB, Nancy Wilson, Johnny Mathis, Jack Jones etc. on the radio. (Well, ok it was mid 1960s.) It was kinda Kool.
There is a lump in my throat. Its a simple song yet powerful if one has ever loved and lost. There is reason singers steer clear of this song: it will expose your flaws. Not Tony baby!

By all means, try this at home - the public doesn't need to hear your rendition, and that goes double for Rod Stewart. This is as good as it gets folks, and sadly, he's the last man standing who can actually approach this.
You are right on mark, "Steve S." -- esp. when you say "he's trhe last man standing..." -- because NO one else can hold a candle to TB now or those singers past that were in his primary era. Sad, but so true.

This looks like it's taken from The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson... Carson's 3rd wife was named Joanna. His last show had a clip of TB singing this......
