I saw that!! It was really cool!!! Imagine being one of these kids & seeing all the purple knowing it's for all of y'all. They re winners regardless, like the rest cuz there are so many good acts this time lol!!
At the end of the day, both choirs did a great job! Seeing those young people standing on stage, living out their dreams is amazing and we should all stand and applaud them for a great job. Win or lose....those young people are WINNERS in life because they decided to do something positive with their precious lives.
You not only made Detroit proud, you guys made all of Michigan proud!
You can find a good choirs anywhere but these children's energy just strong, it even reach people behind screen AMAZING

every video i have watched of them has left me in tears, god i love these kids and i hope theyre all so well
For those who don’t know. People who compete on here can use the same song or act in the finals to show how much they progressed and improved since their first audition
Still unlike Kodie Lee they lacked innovation. Where he evolved and took on new challenges they went back to their greatest hit. And that's why he won and they lost. That being said I think they are incredibly talented and I think they have a future in entertainment.

I understand that the places that they get is based on the American public’s votes but do you honestly believe that based on talent alone Detroit Youth Choir deserved to get second place? The other choir Ndlovu Youth Choir is at least a hundred times better and more talented than Detroit Youth Choir and they didn’t even placed in the top 5.

Ndlovu Choir is really electrifying...I think
Black American choirs are very hip hoppy, uplifting and joyous and danceable,but the African choirs esp Ndlovu makes one believe music and dance moves were born outta Africa,very spiritual and connecting one with the universe and deities!!,I would go for the African Youth Choir though
Both are spiritual in its own ways. Music is a spiritual experience. Personally i like the detroit one but both are awesome.

Sorry to burst your bubbles but uhh...I'm not sure "worldwide" Should be the word. I've known Ndlovu for 2years now and I'm just hearing about Detroit Youth Choir, who apparently, were 2nd place. The farthest they went was US, UK & Canada.

They only had a few days from last week when they made it into the finals. They probably didn’t have time to put together a new song and choreography. But they were still fantastic.

Isn't a person that shouldn't comment on this video unless you've witnessed Detroit first hand. I work almost daily in the roughest neighborhood it has to offer. I've been to Iraq and back and always tell my coworkers a combat zone is nothing like the city of Detroit. They'll shoot you for your shoes in Detroit, in Iraq they had a cause, their religion. But for these kids to come out as one and kill it like they did much respect and courage. I'd be more nervous doing something right for this city then any ride I ever took over seas. You guys truly put on for your city!
I love this choir but they can’t compete with the other acts.
They are wonderful young men and women. I have to give credit where it is due and any other year they would have a shot but the competition is so high caliber this won’t fair well.

@@siphoowen2801 Ndlovu Youth Choir is from a small village in Limpopo. We both know Limpopo and how it is to attend a public school in SA. DYC was advantageous in many ways. I'm shocked that African Americans specifically use age, rhythm, culture and foolish things against NYC. I understand it's a competition but they are weird. We like them but we can see in many platforms how they take that for granted. I honestly don't give a damn about their empty pride smtyms..

Ndlovu Youth Choir were WAY BETTER..... This was like watching a magician perform the same trick twice in the one show..... SURELY they could’ve had at least a dozen or so songs to pick from that would’ve been better than THIS??? Phina Kirrie ....EXACTLY ✊️😎 ✅✅✅ The judges say it every year.... “in order to advance in the competition, you need to step it up each time”. They were going along nicely, slowly climbing the ladder, step by step until they “crashed & burned” badly by doing the EXACT same song as their audition. Imagine if Shin Lim has done that last season??? He would’ve been gone long before the final. If they had that stupid “super fan” voting system from AGT Champions in place, they probably wouldn’t have made it past the 1st live show.
