Unfortunately, she wont show real china even if she wants to. She has a businessman father and she is a white people in China. These two things decide that she will never get how ordinary chinese person feel when living in this country right now. There are so many special treatment by china goverment to those foreigner, in terms of investing, education, job opportunity and so on, to make china feel good In the eyes of foreigner especially westerner.

You're actaully interested in exploring the world, learning new languages and reading books, girl you're a true gem, pretty outside and inside, keep on shining, you have a beautiful future ahead!
By the way, I just subscribed to your channel, I'm excited to see you showing the world the real China, the peaceful, safe, clean, futuristic with amazing infrastructure and welcoming people China, very different from the antichina lies you see on westen media.
Enjoy that amazing country, you're living now in one of the coolest countries in the world, lucky you, many of us wish we could! 💕

I'm from California, too. Well, originally from Texas, but I grew up in Southern California since I was 3 years old.
I've never lived in another country before, but my dad does work for United Airlines, so I've been to many places all over the world. It's a whole different experience living in another country, I would imagine. I think it's a great thing, it gives you a better perspective on life.

Try documenting a day in your life as a school going person; starting from getting ready in the morning, getting to school, what or how your school looks like etc (not sure if they will allow this), after school, evening and heading to bed.
Have fun with your new life in SH, and the fastest way for me when I started learning Chinese, was to practice speaking it, even if you make a mistake. Watch some TV series with Eng subs to follow along, maybe some anime to start with.

Hey Sophia, I’m an old fart from Vancouver BC. 2 pieces of advices for you, first thing, don’t spend too much time on introducing yourself….try introduce China as a foreigner thru your eye, it could be the cultural differences between the west and the east! Good and bad, figure out what your subscribers genre, second, learn Chinese, you will thank me someday, keep up the good work, have a happy life in China.

    只要脸皮厚,学语言就不是问题,得到街上和人聊天,学校里学太慢了

    学习中文的话你只要在中国生活,身边一群中国朋友每天出去吃吃喝喝 几个月你的中文就会进步很大。这个不是什么大问题
