Thank you! I've had this thing for over a year but have rarely done more than blend a few things or make dough. Your videos give a clear idea of what else I can do.
I also have had the machine just sitting for the most part because the manual was confusing. This video and its first part are terrific. I think I can start doing many of the tasks as shown. Thanks very much!
I'm trying to decide between few different food processor brands so thank you for the info. By watching you use this Braun, to me it seems like it's best feature is being able to put larger pieces of vegetable into the chute. My old 11 cup Cuisinart has a limit of how long a piece of food can be in order to work in the chute, and the plunger must be inserted to engage the motor in order to have it turn on. I like that doing this is not required with the Braun you demonstrated.
Thank you sooo much for this review! I bought this processor 2 months ago and have used many of it’s features. I like the processor a lot, but I don’t like the skimpy leaflet of instructions it comes with. It’s close to useless. The first thing I did after unpacking the machine is google for better instructions, and this video popped up. It was super helpful to me, certainly saved me a lot of time and resources experimenting! Braun owes you! Again.... Thank you very much!
This was an awesome explanation of how to use the various attachments. Thanks for making things so clear! I couldn’t figure out the instructions at all. 😊
Probably not, but I'm guessing that the dicing attachment at a high speed would probably do the trick. Might want to add a little canola oil to help make it smooth, if it seems too granular after that.
I posed that question a minute ago under a different comment that she replied to, regarding bread dough. The video shows her making pie dough, but that's definitely not in the same dough-category.
Great video, have been thinking about getting this Food Processor and this was very helpful. Wonder if juicing the lime and lemon would be easier if they were frozen first, since freezing breaks down the membrane.
Thank you for your review. I found it to be informative and to the point. One question I have regarding the Braun 12 cup food processor is one recipe I enjoy making uses dates and nuts and the end result is the consistency of a Lara Bar. This recipe was the demise of my last food processor. Do you feel this would handle heavy-duty recipes? TYIA for your answer.
Hi Margaret, glad you liked the review! This Braun will handle your date nut bar. If you want something a little sturdier, I would recommend the Cuisinart 14 cup: ruclips.net/video/8ZBn_ZMHLMU/видео.html
Both work well for hummus. That 14-cup Cuisinart will probably make a larger amount since the bowl is larger. There are other factors, though, such as blade shape and size, strength of motor, etc. But both will do a fine job!
For making yeast bread doughs, would you know how much would be the max limit for amount of flour which can be used, so as not to endanger the motor of the Braun? Thanks very much for the video; so clear, concise, thorough, and well-organized - excellent work.
Have the original Braun but was larger, dropped it and broke the motor body. Have all attachments . Would like to buy the motor body but cannot find. If someone knows where can get one, please help.
Was that the same dough recipe from the last test on the other model? If so good but all in all this is a very light duty unit. In all honesty all most a toy. But it does not have a toy price. I would think carefully and do your research before investing in this unit.
Still usefull review 5 years later. Thank you!
You're welcome!
Very thorough, thank you. There is not a lot out there on this model.
Glad you liked it 😀
Just got my bruan and this was the only helpful video I found on actually how to use all the parts. Thank you! 😊
You’re welcome 😉

Glad it was helpful 😀
Thank you for the demonstration. I was wondering how it purees and what its like to clean.
Thank you for showing everyone how to use this food processor
I just found the various different attachements and i was shocked by the fact that its not only a food processor
This was an awesome explanation of how to use the various attachments. Thanks for making things so clear! I couldn’t figure out the instructions at all. 😊
👍😀
This was so helpful,thanks
👍
Nice demo! Could u continue grinding the almonds to get nut butter in that attachment?
Probably not, but I'm guessing that the dicing attachment at a high speed would probably do the trick. Might want to add a little canola oil to help make it smooth, if it seems too granular after that.
Thanks for your help I have a brown I do not know how to use once again thank you
Glad it was helpful, 😀
Possible to make dough for bread with this machine ?
I posed that question a minute ago under a different comment that she replied to, regarding bread dough. The video shows her making pie dough, but that's definitely not in the same dough-category.
Thank you so much 😊❤️👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
😁
Great vid. Just bought one, thanks.
😁
Great review. Just not sure I want so many attachments! TQ!
No worries!

Hello where do I get the B blade? I can't find it
Thanks again. Your videos saved me a lot of bother ( I'm a guy...I dislike reading instructions)
😂👍
I'm a woman - I never follow instructions :D

In Europe they have 40 and 50 percent heavy cream. That would whip easier at speed 2, I bet.
Can we make bread dough in this food processor??...please reply
Yes, it’s best to use the kneading hook for yeast doughs, pasta and pastries. Instructions are in the manual 😁

Is this better or worse than the Cuisinart DFP-14BCNY for making hummus? Thank you!

eBay. If you can't find the motor, you can sell off the parts and use the $$$ to buy a new complete machine :)
Can’t find on amazon
It can be used ad blender or not?
Yes, use the blade to blend milk shakes, soups etc. When blending milk, use a small quantity as it will froth :)
It can be used as avdry mill also with same blade which we use for blending or not?
What blade can you us for chip's?
Thin slicing blade.
have you reviewed Breville Sous Chef Food Processor? debating between breville and cusinart
I haven’t reviewed the Breville yet 😀
I just bought this and wonder what blade I would use for making cookies.
S blade.
has anyone made icecream with the whipping attachment?

Hi, it’s the same dough recipe. This Braun did a decent job on pretty much everything I demonstrated 😀
@@bestkitchenreviews Have you tried making bread dough with it? If so, how did that turn out? Would you be willing to post a video of that?
👍👍💓💓💓
Nice!
😀
Even Anita forgets to put things in occasionally lol :-) :D :P
😂
👀👀👀👀👀👀👀
Thank you for the video very good but the quality looks very bad and I will not be buying this product watching your demonstration
What did you end up buying? How did it work out for you?
