Those kind of boots have really hard soles so it is really easy (coming from a dancer)

As a girl who danced both tap and ballet for nearly 10 years since I was literally 3, I can confidently say most of this movie is pretty accurate like the school, the exercises, the point the only thing I didn’t understand was that a girl who had no proper training was able to pass in a elite dance school but you know it is fantasy . Loved the video
I've had no training, but I was told by a professional dance teacher that I could keep up with a dance class fairly easily.
@@ellabennett6091 it honestly depends on what level class you’d be joining in this movie their doing highly skilled routines with pointe im just saying without formal training and strengthening she wouldn’t be able to pass
@@IszyBelle I mean perhaps those tests were who could go the farthest career, hobby, or emotionally, mentally, physically wise, or who could have the most improvement and not necessarily had the most skill? And it showed that the other girl would hesitate, but this one wouldn’t and therefore be better in this regard and be wanted more than the other one.

As a dancer I can tell you that the most accurate part of this movie (at least the parts I've seen) is how mean other dancers can be
@@mirandaw5251 For sure. It really depends on the studio you’re at, but they can be cruel. But if anyone says they want to dance after this, I would encourage it, within reason. Please, be thoughtful about the studio you pick, style you want to try, etc. And dance takes a lot of commitment, so be prepared to work hard. If all this sounds good, go for it!

Guys I really miss the old times, I was much more happy back then when that movie came out, now that I am a teenager, I feel like I'm losing myself.

The incredible part of this movie was that in the span of 1 week, Felicie went from being an untrained dancer to a top-notch ballerina and bested a girl who breathed ballet for most of her life
I don't see very many good quality videos about this movie, and it was actually Kings and Queens that lead me here, but this is quality. The close cuts and the use of the movie's audio in the song's break, not to mention; P!nk's song being such an excellent choice for this! You have earned a new subscriber and I really hope that I can become as good as you are at making this sort of video

The fact that Felicia does over half of the dancing in boots completely amazes me.
When I watched this for the first time, it reminded me of how my younger self wanted to be a ballerina, an inspired me again, love this movie!💕💖
Félicie is so awesome, but acknowledge how cute her outfit with the shorts is like. And how the animators didn't make her waist impossible small, she looks normal
I saw Leap like a few years ago but I barely remember what happens, all I remember is that I was with my BFF at the time and we were coloring while it played. The girl was in this basket when she was a baby and I believe she was in a ballerina class (im sure about the basket thing) and I think there was one scene where was like on some form of bridge
