So much honour to see Dare like our traditional old buildings, respect and hope more and more people see how beautiful they are like you.
Demolition of the Tong Lau from the "Gov" is a way to destroy the memory of British Hong Kong. I would like to say thank you to Dare while we acting as a blue-blood to fight for the Hong Kong core value
Really enjoyed this episode! As I get older, I am appreciating older things more and I'm more inclined to repurpose and reuse items instead of throwing them out and buying something new. I really like how Dare has incorporated the old items as part of his decor of his home. It suits the space really well!
I grew up in this neighborhood till age seven and it just brings back lots of wonderful memories. My family and I left Hong Kong and moved to the US back in the mid '80s. This was certainly a very touching and heartwarming video for me personally. I am sure that it has been giving inspirations and encourgements for other Hong Kongers in preserving Hong Kong's rich cultural heritage. From Seattle a big thank you to Dare for all your contributions and commitment. There's no place like Hong Kong...
Thanks Dare, for inspiring me on the beauty of tang lau😊 i m actually falling in love with wanchai tang lau lately. I wish I can do something for them someday as well. Don’t wanna see them becoming another 喜帖街 or just another highrise
Thank you Dare, I've always wanted Hong Kong to preserve and appreciate old buildings instead of tearing them down, especially when the old architecture is so beautifully designed. What you're doing is definitely making an impact. :)

Really enjoy watching this episode. Thank you very much Dare to preserve Hong Kong old buildings, the beauty of these buildings, history, details and architecture are priceless.
It's so amazing and joy to know that some people like Dare are contributing so much in preserving these old buildings which are part of Hong Kong's culture and livelihood. On the contrary I don't feel many Hong Kong Chinese pay much attention or have any interest in this topic. Thank U so much Dare and the team for this meaningful video. Just subscribed.
I grew up in the mid Level, also lived in a tong lau. The small tiles on the stairs were the same as those shown here. This definitely has brought back wonderful memories. There’s no place like HK. GO HK GO!
I wish Dare reads the comments for this lovely video! Thanks for looking after this neighborhood, thanks for your love in this community! I lived right next to Man Mo Temple for 8 years looking right down at temple facing the park. I had the top floor with roof! I loved that part of Hong Kong so much. There’s so much character in every nooks and crannies. There’s always old people and the new neighbors coming and bringing fresh energy to the community. The video brought back so much good memories. I can’t wait to come back see the changes. Thanks again MM team!!
The treasures & jewels left behind from the colonial era genuinely discerned & truly admired by a foreigner who in some ways is more local than us locals.
Me grandfather used to work at that printing house before he migrated to UK in the 80s, wish he was alive since he'd would've loved to see his old work place again.
睇嚟我都要be a better meme補下英文🤧
Nail in the coffin

Because Chinese Hong Kongners won't dare to mess with a Caucasian and they always want to mess with their own race!
Respect for what?!
respect to boost up the rental of such district??

good show👍

Thank you Dare ! You preserve not only the old buildings but also the history and memory of my parents! Hope all your tenants enjoy their home!
Thank you Dare.
Thanks for your supporting~
