It would've been fantastic & fully deserved if Stan had had a go at managing in the Premier League. Even today, he'd do a good job for any team in any division 👍

I'm an Huddersfield fan and was a season ticket holder in the season he was there. I found it really telling what he said about Gerry Murphy, in hindsight I think Gerry Murphy and his insistence on the youth academy, which if we're honest produced players that served us well for the level we were at for two or three seasons, but ultimately no top players came out of that set up, was actually wrong and it was, in the end, a stubborn policy which held us back. The best product was Alex Smithies, who had a decent career in the Championship, but I feel we would have been better looking outside for Premier League releases in some cases. Catching them "at the death" as Gerry Murphy himself put it, said with a tone which implied that was a bad thing. I'm not surprised to hear he had too much power though, or at least in his own mind.

Such a shame he didn't start a month earlier at Gillingham. He would have kept them up.

If anybody see's this articulate vid of Stan the man and see's the under TC with Glenn little, I believe Glenn the calming one in front of a camera I bet it's a different ball game in rollercoaster changing room but our Stan says he has no supervisions barring slapping Blakey before he went out lol lol 😁😁😁😁😁

I was in tears listening to Glenn little on UTC. The guy should do stand up. I’m not really a fanatical football fan but some of the stories from the old pros are hilarious. I’m addicted to the Stan Ternent tales - what a character😂😂
