- Looking to fish something different we decided to test the mud island fishery. Was pleasantly surprised at the big flathead fishery we encountered.

Outstanding boys.
Agreed flaties by far the best eating fish in the sea.
I only drift for them which I find very successful
Thanks mate. Yep next time will definitely be drifting from the get go
Gotta love being on the water! Summers in Melbourne aren't long enough
Thanks Adz, awesome video again!, Flatties are the best, love our bay!
Thanks mate! Can always count on the ol flatty
Love a screaming reel!.. that looked like fun.
Well done Adz.. enjoy the flatties.
Cheers Steve! They didn't last very long at all
Great work guys! Love to see some southern Philip bay action , I live in corinella , always go western port , but after watch your video . Planning to tow my boat to rye to give a crack on lizards ! Are they in season now , still biting ? Thanks heaps !
Thanks mate! That's what it about man, get out there and discover new grounds. They're usually an all year round thing so you should have no problem. Just make sure to have Burley going
Saw few boats parking next to channel marker poles , wonder if they are looking for kingies , do you know if they are around ? Or maybe they were waiting for gummies
If it ppb then would 100% be gummy or snapper fishos. No report of kings for a while now
@@AdzFishing it was in the south channel where you fished, I fish that area too
@@adventurehungry deffs be going for gummies I rekn
good one bro!!! gonna get onto the barells this winter?
Cheers bro! Yep we're planning a lads weekend up there once winter kicks in. Barrel would be off its head but would be happy with a good sesh on school fish too
Sick video bro but only one of those flatties are a blue spot, the rest are just your common sand flathead, either way still good eating
Cheers bro. Yeah the big one was obvious. The juveniles were much lighter in colour than north of the bay so hard to tell.
@@AdzFishing yeah fair enough man, keep up the good work
😂😂😂😂 almost as big as the boat
GoPro shrinkage problems haha
