  • This video shows you how to calculate the specific pressure in injection molding. There are 3 examples in the video.
    Hydraulic Cylinder = Hydraulic
    Screw Tip = Specific
    Mold Cavity = Cavity Pressure
    Also, I go over L/D ratio.

    do you have calculation for injection pressure for plastic extrusion without piston actuator?

    I'm kinda new with working in molding been a cpl years. I'm getting splay near the gates and was wondering what changes wld you do to correct this? Wld it be cavity pressure?

      You can play around with the speeds on injection. What its called is gate blush or gate sheer. They way to fix is to open the gate up a little or change the injection rate & mold temps. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching & the support.
