The grounds are too coarse for the espresso machine, that's why you can't taste the coffee! It looked very watery when it came out. Try and grind them a lot finer and then it should be better. I also have a Breville machine and it takes some trial and error to get it right!

Thanks so much for the tip! I have trouble knowing whether or not to grind the beans more but I’ll try and do that next time! 👍🏻
We have a Mr. Coffee Coffee machine here at home but ours is red.
