Thank you. Yes I almost always just use 1 mic. Unless it is a song which features the acoustic guitar very prominently and I want to spread the sound a bit more. I do have a trick for that with just one mic as well though (you just gave me an idea for another video 😁). Do you use multiple mics usually ?
@@LanewoodStudios normally i pan 30 or 40% L R and in case of the electric guitars a bit more around 80 or 90%. Unless maybe its only acustic GTr song with vocal, then i hard L R 😀
Any workflow tips that you have for recording acoustic guitar ?
Well done and the added humor was a great touch! I loved the capo advice. Thank you!
Thanks, glad you liked the video 😎😁.
Just came across your channel. I'm looking into swapping over to Cubase, or at least adding it, so you're vids are pure gold.
Glad they are useful to you!
Thanks for this video. It's so helpful
Thank you and very nice to hear!
Nice video, so for acoustic guitars do you always use 1 mic? or for this specific song was that intention only?

@@LanewoodStudios hum ok Nice 😆 normally i use a SM57 next to the neck and a condensar mic near the Bridge
@@project1265ffo And do you then pan those different in the mix or just combine the sounds and pan them to one position in the mix ?

How can I get this Cubase Pro? Seems it's the latest
You can buy it at the Steinberg site or any retailer. I have an affiliate link in the description.
