I love this channel. It’s like half shoes half comedy. And the reviews are legit helpful. I’m training for my first marathon and your reviews helped me get the right shoes.
ROOTY…RUDY…ROBBIE! Man down! No bueno on the ankle but thanks for the shoe review entertainment. These brands get so many YT views bc you guys manage to make shoe reviews so fun/funny!
Sent the Cooper Hawks back because of the sizing. Then my Speedlands arrived! Noorda is an impressive-looking shoe but one can only purchase so many über-expensive trail shoes! Enjoy them. Thanks for your reviews.
Really love your shoe reviews. That is a very expensive shoe, by the way who wants a shoe to last forever, when there are so many great ones out there to be run in?
Solid shoe for slippery PNW conditions. Def spendy. Biggest issue is getting a pair. Picked mine up in Switzerland because my sizes not avail at NA retailers.
You guys said it’s a bit warm. Perfect winter road/trail running shoe? Wondering if that material is tightly woven...perhaps somewhat splash resistant or at least doesn’t absorb water like many shoes do. Cause I’m not a fan of fully waterproof or gtx runner’s. Feet overheat and sweat to easy in gore Tex. Still don’t own the perfect snow/slush running shoes.
Yes it is somewhat resistant to light water... the saucony endorphin speed runshield is a nice road running shoe that fits that description btw, i believe saucony also has runshield trail editions which aren't fully waterproof
They make cool looking stuff, but their price point is ridiculous. $200+ for a cotton shirt with holes in it, nearly $300 for shorts… contradicts the acid wave hippy peace vibe they’re going for.
@@slowmigo yeah I understand it’s a luxury brand targeting a very niche group of runners. I can’t afford everything they do as a student, sometimes I save up to get something, mostly when I find it in sale but people don’t have to buy Satisfy to enjoy the brand. They’re the only ones bringing a musical and artistic culture around running just like skateboarding which is so unique
I recently bought a pair of size 13 black 001 shoes from an online retailer for $285, 39 days ago. My left foot makes this awful noise like squeaks after a few mins of wear. it’s quite irritating so much so that I do not wear these shoes. It’s only one foot. I thought it was the insoles or sweat but it's not, tried powder, and then I switched out the soles, and it still made the noise. Wish I could upload it. Also, Norda has gone mute on me. Great customer experience. I would not buy or buy again. My $75 Nikes are just as comfortable, run great on trails, and make no noise when I run or walk.
These ultra durable uppers (Dyneema, Matrixx) are overkill IMO. I kill the tread/midsole before even beginning to go through an upper. I'd rather have lower cost, more breathability and suppleness.
i suspect norda will replace your outsole at that time it would totally kill their sustainability thing if they want you to toss a perfectly good upper and get another pair
We get it, ultimately there's not much new under the sun. But to be fair, no one has done a full Dyneema upper before... it's like having a bulletproof vest for an upper, that thing ain't going nowhere. Supposedly, testers are getting 600-800 miles out of it, most trail shoes blow out their uppers by then. The shoe is already almost sold out so they must be doing something right!
@@Believeintherun good point. That said, there are a lot of running shoes that people buy that make no sense/are purely for show. cough cough *on cloud* cough

I, too, rolled my ankle...but during a trail race. I had to run the last 16 miles limping to the finish. it was brutal!
Ugh, it's the worst. I "ran" 6 more miles on it and I paid the price.
Robbie’s enthusiasm about it made me buy Tracksmith stuff while living in Holland which is quite pricey but.... sooo worth it! Thanks guys!
So good, glad you're enjoying it!

Just have to add, my 001's feel A W E S O M E with a pair of saucony "power run PB" inserts"
WOW WOW WOW
wish they had the trail pegasus again... my go to forest photography shoes... these are way too expensive.
Gorgeous shoe, great concept and commitment. But EVA midsole?!

You guys have to talk about Satisfy Running ! Not enough videos about that brand on RUclips !

How would you compare the mid sole against Hoka speed goat like 4 or 5

Honestly who needs an upper like this, my Trailshoe‘s break down because of the midsole and the rubber and never because of the upper material.
Great job Norda 😂
Did you up in shoe size or stayed the same form other trail shoe?
Stayed tts
As an accountant, that "exercise tax" is funny 🤣
ok guys keep going shoe for every day people
Hello Bonjour from Montréal , ! A mexican running 🏃♀️ in MTL
Are they true to size?
Yes
They are not, the website recommends going up half a size
You guys forgot to say hi to mom. Why?! Not a great job guys. Loved the review though - as always!
Whenever a brand comes out like this, I just wonder what are they doing that hasn’t been done

With all the joshing i have switched off.
Takes ages to get to the specs.
The joshing is the gravy
It looks like a really nice shoe for casual wear, and...why would they make a trail shoe in WHITE?🤔 And...$285???? Uh, no.
The million dollar question, did you manage to get em back to a nice clean white colour? 🧼. Enjoy the poutine 🍟🇨🇦
Going to attempt it this weekend! Maybe tonight since you reminded me
