I worked in St. Vincent a few times about a decade ago. Long before the new airport was a thought. It's always been one of my favorite places. May need to check this resort out. Hopefully they will have some good eco-tours/excursions as it really is a beautiful island (as are the other islands too).

Yyz Toronto has direct flights
Why not put a traditional Vincy cuisine restaurant high lighting the island nation's cuisine instead of a Jamaican Jerk Chicken shack. We can go to Jamaica or just us New Yorkers' can stay in NY for Jamaican food. Vincy's eat curry goat, roast breadfruit and fried fish just to name a few dishes.
Hey hey! Thanks for your comments. So, I totally hear what you are saying and generally agree. However, Sandals is a Jamaican company and so the Jerk Shack is a feature at pretty much every Sandals across the Caribbean. That said, I am pleased to say that Sandals will be featuring some local cuisine in the resort, albeit not as a dedicated restaurant in the resort. There's a local restaurant that offers Vincentian food. It's called Buccan

The SVG government are in talks with JetBlue which should start flying there before the end of this year.
Caribbean Airlines currently operates a direct flight from JFK to St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
