farah ahmed honestly, I don't think so.. there's not enough episode left to rebuild a respectable love story for them.. but I think it's not that bad that both of them had found another person in their life.. they definately deserve to be happy even if i'm pretty sure that Stefan will die by the end of the show 😥
It's a shame to see how bad the writers messed up. I was okay with delena getting together for the plot, but at the end of the day, it should have been Stefan. Stelena was just magic. Sad to think they are only a memory now... :(
Meredith Pearce because the fans took over the show and they decided what was gonna happen. The cw saw an increase of de fans. I still to this day can see how see she chose damon.
Exactly. The part I don’t understand is how all of a sudden she’s all in with Damon and treats Stefan almost as if their relationship didn’t happen. It’s honestly really heartbreaking that to see.

Girl you're so on it. In S2 Kevin Williamson wanted to grow Damon's character. That was starting to happen. In the episode "Rose" (2x08) Stefan & Damon grew a great deal when they embarked on a road trip to save Elena who had been kidnapped. After returning to the boarding house Stefan apologized for forcing Damon to turn. He even revealed the reason why he did it. Damon realized something: He needed Stefan more than he needed Elena. That's why Damon compelled Elena to forget he told her he loved her. Julie Plec & Caroline Dries had other plans. When they saw Damon developing a soft spot for Rose (Katherine's sire) they had to get rid of her so they could re-construct the love triangle. The spell that Bonnie used on Klaus in "Before Sunset" (3x21) Kevin wanted to do the same spell on Klaus before the end of S2. He even wanted to bring back Lucy. She was the witch who incapacitated Katherine in "Masquerade" (2x07) for lying about Bonnie's involvement. After Bonnie realized Luca used her to obtain the moonstone for Elijah that would lead to her calling Lucy. Kevin wanted all 4 witches to realize that if they didn't work together everybody they loved would be killed. With that Kevin did not want to kill off Jonas and Luca because he did not want to extend the characters losing streak when it came to critical enemies. But of course Julie Plec & Caroline Dries were against all of the above. They wanted to use Klaus as a bargaining chip to bring together Damon & Elena. It worked because Julie & Caroline wrote the sequence when Klaus blackmailed Stefan to save Damon's life.

I've been coming back to this video for a while now to try to mend my Stelena heart, but it just ends even more and more heartbroken. Stefan and Elena had probably the most beautiful love story I've ever watched. TVD is a really, really horrible show and I don't like the plot or anything at all, but these two characters and the way Nina and Paul played them and put their whole souls into them just made everything different. He's taught her how to live, how to really live, "how beautiful it is to even exist", and just like you compared him to the comet trapped in a path it couldn't escape... YES. Elena died but before she died and became a vampire she taught him to be brave, she taught him that he was better than a ripper, that he was more than that ("you taught me the courage of stars before you left"). This video is such a masterpiece. The song is a masterpiece already but when you paired the lyrics with Nina and Paul's amazing acting and chemistry, with Stefan and Elena's undying love.. Wow. I am always so out of breath after watching this. They give me hope even though they weren't endgame (fuck endgames tbh) and well, I'm just rambling at this point. What I'm trying to say is THANK YOU for this video. I think it's the best Stelena video I've ever watched.

Damon was on fire on all cylinders in that episode! Kevin Williamson choosing to include Jeremy in the scenes when Damon was torturing Mason Lockwood was hardcore. At this year's Comic-Con Ian Somerhalder said during the panel "Seasons 1 & 2" was when he loved Damon. I never really liked Katherine but something she said to Damon in "Masquerade" (2x07) was pure genius: "What happened to you Damon? You used to be so sweet & polite." | "Oh that Damon died a long time ago." | "Good. He was a bore."
Let's face it, if Elena ever manages to get rid of Damon's blood, she'll go back to Stefan because she fell in love with him of her OWN FREE WILL. She didn't need Stefan's blood to fall for him. Also, she made it clear to Damon before she died that she would always pick Stefan over him. Damon is deluding himself that the "love story" between him and Elena is real but I don't feel sorry for him. After all, he terrorized Elena for a long time, even snapping the necks of her brother and Bonnie right in front of her eyes.
The relationship between Damon and Elena is not true love. He uses her for making out and they fight a lot and he killed her! Stefan almost killed her too but that was not his fault. He could not control himself. Stelena is true love not Delena. Ppl are choosing Delena over Stelena because ppl think Damon is hot but we ain't talking about who is hotter, We are talking about shippings. So i have to say Stelena has to win. Damon is the most awesome character in the show.. But it just doesn't really make any logical sence why Elena left Stefan to Damon,, you can tell it was more of just a fan-service of the writers because the fan-girls obviously thought Damon were the more mysterious hoter choice so they knew it would please the fans.. But considering Stefan and Elenas history, and past,, it just doesn't make sence why she suddenly made a 180 degree turn to Damon who have threatned her/her family and her friends like garbage, killed Jeremy and lots of other people and so on. And still she just went for him in a few episodes in season 4 and lost all feelings for stefan, enough to throw everything of their past away without any hesitation.. And let's face it, the show were better before and Damon were a lot more intressting and fun when he were without Elena and her relationship with damon just seem.. overforced, and quite plastic compared to the one with stefan,, Just not that real

TVD had 2 of the greatest, most epic, magical and breathtaking couples i've ever seen: Stelena&Klaroline. And, well, they're both dead now.. They were supposed to be endgame and you could see it from the moment they met. Everytime i think about it, i always get sad, but then, that's life, isn't it? Not all couples can have their happy endings unfortunately but i'd like to think, there's a parallel universe where all is good. This video is amazing and it hit me right in the feels! Very, very good job, keep being amazing :)
Steroline's story makes a hell lot more sense than klaroline or stelena...falling in love with ur best friend is always more effective and meaningful than falling in love with a stranger who likes you..!
@@smita568 i liked steroline and caroline was, if not the best, one of the best characters in the show, she only deserved to be happy but ended up losing both of her (potential) life partners. But regarding your comment, although it "makes sense" what you're saying, every love story is different :) You can meet someone in an instant and be with them forever .. or you can marry your best friend but ultimately ending up not working it out.

So then why he didn't have a romantic relationship with Lexi?? . On the other hand caroline really hated these backup relationships. So is that fair her to give a backup relationship even in the end?? Steroline made no sense in anyway. Stefan hated himself being a vampire and all he wanted to live a human life and caroline never wanted to be a human. She enjoyed herself as a vampire and hated being human. Stefan and caroline wasn't same stefan and elena were the same because Elena also wanted to live a human life like stefan. Stelena is way better than steroline and it made more sense.

Even after all the drama with Isobel showing up at the house unannounced & Klaus taking over Alaric's body their feelings for one another in the aftermath didn't waver. I'm a hardcore #Forwood shipper. Here's why: Both Tyler & Caroline were both assholes in the beginning of S1. As S1 started to wrap up you started seeing a shift in both of them. When Katherine turned them they were determined to make the best out of It. "Rose" (2x08) "The Sacrifice" (2x10) "By the Light of the Moon" (2x11) "The Descent" (2x12) Those episodes stand out. When Klaus turned Tyler in S3 he was absolutely heartbroken when he followed Klaus' orders and bit Caroline. Since Caroline's father could resist compulsion he brought him in to free himself from Klaus' control. After Alaric killed William Forbes in the hospital after Tyler attacked him he became hellbent on breaking the sirebond not just for Caroline but to honor her father. Julie Plec & Caroline Dries ruined that whole dynamic. When #Delena became official they didn't want Stefan pining over Elena so they had Caroline sleep with Klaus after he murdered Carol Lockwood to break Tyler & Caroline up for good.
Stelena's love was real, not like the bs delena one they forced upon us! I'll always ship these 2! Damon belongs with Bonnie. Right from the beginning I saw damon and bonnie together, I wanted them to be together. Hopefully, this will happen in the next season :)
Okay this is my favorite Stelena vid, ever, now. Truly incredible. I got chills and my eyes welled up with tears. HOW CAN THE WRITERS PRETEND NONE OF THIS MATTERED? There are so many incredible moments between these two, so much love. You did an excellent job of showing all the parallels between them and of things they've said..the song (won't mention it) was gorgeous and the coloring/light was stunning. I'm just so depressed now. I want to just watch this on repeat and pretend the last few seasons never happened. Stelena forever!!

Stefan, who has the purest heart out of any character I've seen on any show, he might have dark times, (ripper times) but he's not that person in his dark times, he's not his real self because Stefan is GOOD ! even without Elena he IS good, Elena inspired him to have hope, to hold on, to fight, to feel, she made him happy, she made him feel human again ! And cuz of all this and more, I don't know how I can ever get over these two ! They are soulmates!

What Stefan and Elena had was so pure and genuine and you captured their love perfectly. This will forever be the greatest ship of them all. The way they loved each other and brought light into each other's life was so raw and special and I can't believe they threw that away. Stefen never gave up on her even after she repeatedly hurt him, and Elena helped Stefen through the darkness. I will always strive for love like this... i started the vampire diaries when i was 11 years old. delena was my favourite ship, just because i really thought that stefan wasn't the good one for elena. as i retwatched the show, growing up, i started to see love from another point of you. and i understood, stelena represented the epic love. everything that stefan is with elena, what she does to protect him, to love him, even after all that happened. there was something special between them, and that special thing is absent in delena.

Damon was free to be himself whenever he was around Rose. When Damon & Rose arrived in Richmond in "Katerina" (2x09) Damon didn't hesitate showing his aggressive side. Rose was cool with that. She never tried to change him. Rose always left Damon with his dignity. When Damon told Rose he wanted to meet Slater she didn't question him. Rose challenged Damon. She made him question his life and his beliefs. After losing everybody she loved Rose kept her humanity. She never believed a vampire should turn to violence just because they're suffering. When Rose saw the body of a girl she had murdered she was praying for death. Even though the werewolf bite was responsible for Rose losing self-control she was begging Damon to kill her. Of all the women that's been in Damon's life hands-down Rose was the best one.

I’ve been binging this show for the first time ever. I’m halfway through the fourth season and the more Elena and Stefan’s relationship breaks the more hurt I become. I know exactly how this show ends, but I can’t help but think they might be the greatest love story tv has ever told.

Oh god, you just kill me with every video you make about Stelena. You remember me how epic they were, and YES because I used to love them so much, so freaking much but...you know. I had to move on because I began to see where they were going. To me they are still soulmates in some way but I think they will not be "something" anymore. These Stelena videos have so much passion, hurt, and love. This is what delena never had. They never had respect, he never let her make choices, and no matter what Stefan respected her choices, even if she didn’t like it. Damon wasn’t happy so he tried to win Elena over, and when he did, he didn’t even care about how Stefan felt. But whenever Elena would pick Stefan or when she asked him to the dance, Damon got mad and Stefan felt bad. What a responsible big brother.
After watching this video I thought about what Elena said in season 3 about how you should love the person that makes you glad that you're alive & then in the recent seasons everyone is saying she chose to be with Damon bc in death he was the one that made her feel alive. I never really thought about that until now & to me those sound like two different things. Elena likes Damon bc he's completely different from Stefan. He's the "bad boy" the spontaneous, dangerous one but wouldn't that get old after awhile? I don't think you would want to spend the rest of your life with someone like that. It would be fun for awhile but as far as long term no. I think Elena thinks she wants that or maybe she thinks she can change him but the sad fact is he's changed her. And not for the better. There's so many things wrong with DE but one of the main things is in their relationship the bad outweighs the good. Elena has to literally compromise her morals to be with him & she's said this herself. She turns the other cheek when he does something wrong bc she loves him. But you cant blame it all on Damon, it's Elena too. I mean Elena knew who she was dealing with when she got with him. It's almost like she can't really blame him for the things he does bc he's just being himself. He's Damon & he'll always be that way no matter who he's with. The only thing that's changed about him is that he fell in love. But he's still Damon.

They should have had season 4 as it is for the delena fan and then change it in season 5 back to Elena and Stefan. When Stefan came back Elena should have realised that Stefan is her true love.In season 6 after Damon come backs he should have realised that Bonnie is the one for him and he is in love with Bonnie. Caroline would have been with Tyler or Klaus. Elena and Damon should have became good friends and Elena and Stefan so in love with each other, Not the opposite :(
I am and always will be delena. I have my many reasons for being so, but I'm not going to deny the epic love of stelena. They fought for each other, made each other feel alive, and let's not forget the amazing chemistry they had. Season three alone showed how strong Stefan & Elena's love was. In S2 Kevin Williamson wanted to grow Damon's character. That was starting to happen. In the episode "Rose" (2x08) Stefan & Damon grew a great deal when they embarked on a road trip to save Elena who had been kidnapped. After returning to the boarding house Stefan apologized for forcing Damon to turn. He even revealed the reason why he did it. Damon realized something:
He needed Stefan more than he needed Elena. That's why Damon compelled Elena to forget he told her he loved her.
Julie Plec & Caroline Dries had other plans. When they saw Damon developing a soft spot for Rose (Katherine's sire) they had to get rid of her so they could re-construct the love triangle.
The spell that Bonnie used on Klaus in "Before Sunset" (3x21) Kevin wanted to do the same spell on Klaus before the end of S2. He even wanted to bring back Lucy. She was the witch who incapacitated Katherine in "Masquerade" (2x07) for lying about Bonnie's involvement. After Bonnie realized Luca used her to obtain the moonstone for Elijah that would lead to her calling Lucy. Kevin wanted all 4 witches to realize that if they didn't work together everybody they loved would be killed. With that Kevin did not want to kill off Jonas and Luca because he did not want to extend the characters losing streak when it came to critical enemies. But of course Julie Plec & Caroline Dries were against all of the above. They wanted to use Klaus as a bargaining chip to bring together Damon & Elena. It worked because Julie & Caroline wrote the sequence when Klaus blackmailed Stefan to save Damon's life.

I've been coming back to this video for a while now to try to mend my Stelena heart, but it just ends even more and more heartbroken. Stefan and Elena had probably the most beautiful love story I've ever watched. TVD is a really, really horrible show and I don't like the plot or anything at all, but these two characters and the way Nina and Paul played them and put their whole souls into them just made everything different. He's taught her how to live, how to really live, "how beautiful it is to even exist", and just like you compared him to the comet trapped in a path it couldn't escape... YES. Elena died but before she died and became a vampire she taught him to be brave, she taught him that he was better than a ripper, that he was more than that ("you taught me the courage of stars before you left"). This video is such a masterpiece. The song is a masterpiece already but when you paired the lyrics with Nina and Paul's amazing acting and chemistry, with Stefan and Elena's undying love.. Wow. I am always so out of breath after watching this. They give me hope even though they weren't endgame (fuck endgames tbh) and well, I'm just rambling at this point. What I'm trying to say is THANK YOU for this video. I think it's the best Stelena video I've ever watched.

Let's face it, if Elena ever manages to get rid of Damon's blood, she'll go back to Stefan because she fell in love with him of her OWN FREE WILL. She didn't need Stefan's blood to fall for him. Also, she made it clear to Damon before she died that she would always pick Stefan over him. Damon is deluding himself that the "love story" between him and Elena is real but I don't feel sorry for him. After all, he terrorized Elena for a long time, even snapping the necks of her brother and Bonnie right in front of her eyes.

Damon is the most awesome character in the show.. But it just doesn't really make any logical sence why Elena left Stefan to Damon,, you can tell it was more of just a fan-service of the writers because the fan-girls obviously thought Damon were the more mysterious hoter choice so they knew it would please the fans.. But considering Stefan and Elenas history, and past,, it just doesn't make sence why she suddenly made a 180 degree turn to Damon who have threatned her/her family and her friends like garbage, killed Jeremy and lots of other people and so on. And still she just went for him in a few episodes in season 4 and lost all feelings for stefan, enough to throw everything of their past away without any hesitation.. And let's face it, the show were better before and Damon were a lot more intressting and fun when he were without Elena and her relationship with damon just seem.. overforced, and quite plastic compared to the one with stefan,, Just not that real

And, well, they're both dead now.. They were supposed to be endgame and you could see it from the moment they met. Everytime i think about it, i always get sad, but then, that's life, isn't it? Not all couples can have their happy endings unfortunately but i'd like to think, there's a parallel universe where all is good.

I'm a hardcore #Forwood shipper. Here's why:
Both Tyler & Caroline were both assholes in the beginning of S1. As S1 started to wrap up you started seeing a shift in both of them. When Katherine turned them they were determined to make the best out of It.
"Rose" (2x08)
"The Sacrifice" (2x10)
"By the Light of the Moon" (2x11)
"The Descent" (2x12)
Those episodes stand out. When Klaus turned Tyler in S3 he was absolutely heartbroken when he followed Klaus' orders and bit Caroline. Since Caroline's father could resist compulsion he brought him in to free himself from Klaus' control. After Alaric killed William Forbes in the hospital after Tyler attacked him he became hellbent on breaking the sirebond not just for Caroline but to honor her father.
Julie Plec & Caroline Dries ruined that whole dynamic. When #Delena became official they didn't want Stefan pining over Elena so they had Caroline sleep with Klaus after he murdered Carol Lockwood to break Tyler & Caroline up for good.
Stelena's love was real, not like the bs delena one they forced upon us! I'll always ship these 2! Damon belongs with Bonnie. Right from the beginning I saw damon and bonnie together, I wanted them to be together. Hopefully, this will happen in the next season :)

i started the vampire diaries when i was 11 years old. delena was my favourite ship, just because i really thought that stefan wasn't the good one for elena.
as i retwatched the show, growing up, i started to see love from another point of you. and i understood, stelena represented the epic love. everything that stefan is with elena, what she does to protect him, to love him, even after all that happened. there was something special between them, and that special thing is absent in delena.

When Rose was introduced she was a bitch. Just like Katherine. Hellbent on doing just about anything to negotiate her freedom from Klaus. In her final episodes she made a complete 180. She went from being an enemy to a protector. At the end of the day Rose didn't give a damn about her freedom. Not to mention she had a huge impact on Damon.
Damon was free to be himself whenever he was around Rose. When Damon & Rose arrived in Richmond in "Katerina" (2x09) Damon didn't hesitate showing his aggressive side. Rose was cool with that. She never tried to change him. Rose always left Damon with his dignity. When Damon told Rose he wanted to meet Slater she didn't question him.
Rose challenged Damon. She made him question his life and his beliefs. After losing everybody she loved Rose kept her humanity. She never believed a vampire should turn to violence just because they're suffering. When Rose saw the body of a girl she had murdered she was praying for death. Even though the werewolf bite was responsible for Rose losing self-control she was begging Damon to kill her.
Of all the women that's been in Damon's life hands-down Rose was the best one.

These Stelena videos have so much passion, hurt, and love. This is what delena never had. They never had respect, he never let her make choices, and no matter what Stefan respected her choices, even if she didn’t like it. Damon wasn’t happy so he tried to win Elena over, and when he did, he didn’t even care about how Stefan felt. But whenever Elena would pick Stefan or when she asked him to the dance, Damon got mad and Stefan felt bad. What a responsible big brother.

After watching this video I thought about what Elena said in season 3 about how you should love the person that makes you glad that you're alive & then in the recent seasons everyone is saying she chose to be with Damon bc in death he was the one that made her feel alive. I never really thought about that until now & to me those sound like two different things. Elena likes Damon bc he's completely different from Stefan. He's the "bad boy" the spontaneous, dangerous one but wouldn't that get old after awhile? I don't think you would want to spend the rest of your life with someone like that. It would be fun for awhile but as far as long term no. I think Elena thinks she wants that or maybe she thinks she can change him but the sad fact is he's changed her. And not for the better. There's so many things wrong with DE but one of the main things is in their relationship the bad outweighs the good. Elena has to literally compromise her morals to be with him & she's said this herself. She turns the other cheek when he does something wrong bc she loves him. But you cant blame it all on Damon, it's Elena too. I mean Elena knew who she was dealing with when she got with him. It's almost like she can't really blame him for the things he does bc he's just being himself. He's Damon & he'll always be that way no matter who he's with. The only thing that's changed about him is that he fell in love. But he's still Damon.

They should have had season 4 as it is for the delena fan and then change it in season 5 back to Elena and Stefan. When Stefan came back Elena should have realised that Stefan is her true love.In season 6 after Damon come backs he should have realised that Bonnie is the one for him and he is in love with Bonnie. Caroline would have been with Tyler or Klaus. Elena and Damon should have became good friends and Elena and Stefan so in love with each other, Not the opposite :(

I am and always will be delena. I have my many reasons for being so, but I'm not going to deny the epic love of stelena. They fought for each other, made each other feel alive, and let's not forget the amazing chemistry they had. Season three alone showed how strong Stefan & Elena's love was. He literally fought compulsion from an original vampire just so he wouldn't hurt her. I may love delena but I do & always will admire stelena.

When Rose was introduced she was a bitch. Just like Katherine. Hellbent on doing just about anything to negotiate her freedom from Klaus. In her final episodes she made a complete 180. She went from being an enemy to a protector. At the end of the day Rose didn't give a damn about her freedom. Not to mention she had a huge impact on Damon.
Damon was free to be himself whenever he was around Rose. When Damon & Rose arrived in Richmond in "Katerina" (2x09) Damon didn't hesitate showing his aggressive side. Rose was cool with that. She never tried to change him. Rose always left Damon with his dignity. When Damon told Rose he wanted to meet Slater she didn't question him.
Rose challenged Damon. She made him question his life and his beliefs. After losing everybody she loved Rose kept her humanity. She never believed a vampire should turn to violence just because they're suffering. When Rose saw the body of a girl she had murdered she was praying for death. Even though the werewolf bite was responsible for Rose losing self-control she was begging Damon to kill her.
Of all the women that's been in Damon's life hands-down Rose was the best one.
