You can tell this was Capcom's last beat 'em up, cuz they put so much in the graphics. The ending sequence was pretty detailed! 😢

Also, I absolutelly love Yellow Iris' design! She's like a mix of Darkstalker's Felicia and a Numan from the Phantasy Star series (particularly, Nei from PS2 and and Rika from PS4).

Don’t suppose that Iris’ design, not counting clawed hands and feet, was inspired by the Nei of Phantasy Star 2 (1990) or Rika of Phantasy Star 4 (1995)? Kind of looks that way.
Though some sources *claim* that Iris could be a cat person, does anyone *think* this is what a Pikachu from Pokemon *could* look like in human form?

When I first laid eyes on Iris, rather than Felicia, my mind zeroed in on "Numan". And I associated her with Nei and Rika.
Also, am I going crazy, or does Iris' little squirell companion lowkey looks like a Musk Cat?

@@MrDibara Glad *not* to be the only one to see a Numan in her design. And yes, her companion does look like Mayu. Wonder if the designers took cues from Phantasy Star games, if it's coincidental, or may be they didn't know what a cat or a squirrel looks like, turn to PS as a guide.

@@whitewolf3051 Yep, Pola does indeed ride around on Pinky; she carries out many of the moves as well, if you can believe that. (^_^;)
I never played this one myself either and only became aware of it at all after playing Final Fight LNS. No idea what inspired Yellow Beast's design (Cyber Blue is clearly based on Captain Commando), but a humanised version of Pikachu wouldn't be a terrible guess really, would it now. (^w^)
