I love the reference to the Bermuda Triangle. It is quintessentially 70's.
I love this series it's so good!! U Americans or the Americans I should say were so good at writing series from the 40's to the present or maybe the 80's with Nightfall. In my humble opinion this series is a true classic that should never be lost and forgotten but saved for future generations as they like all of us who listen and love this will do so as we do, well I hope so anyway? Thanx to you tube we can all savour all the series we want and that's got to be a good sorry great thing!!!
Very amusing 👌better then most Hollywood movies made today
love these storys. listen in bed every night lights out rain on the windows.....superb
All snugley too
I listened in bed with a transistor low enough to not wake my parents. Now I get to enjoy them again, Thanks
Stories( not storys). Story ( singular) and stories (plural)
Thank you Chilly Sunshine for these wonderful CBSRMT shows! I listened to these as a kid, we only got them on Friday nights from our local CBS affiliate, for some reason. I would love to see CBS inaugurate a new line of these stories, make it fascinating again, with an actor similar to EG Marshall playing the MC, as well as the same door-creaking opening. Mystery Radio grows even more in the 21st Century! Because (in part) of these shows I have gone on to become a novelist, an author of mystery thrillers myself. Bless you, keep up the good work! Oh yeah, I love the illustrations you came up with for each show.
Well done Corvette. I hope that your writing career is going well. Just listening to this one at 1am in London.
Nice I had lot been going on but ya great show that you play thank u
Thanks for sharing! I pray your novels are doing well! Since you left such a lovely comment, I thought I would just share that we, unfortunately lost ChillySunshine, somewhere around the time, of your comment. But they left this amazing legacy of interesting people and conversations about their lives and childhoods... It's a mini love fest, under each, wonderfully presented episode. RIP Chilly...💜🙏💜 Well done.
Thanks Chilly! This is a real public service & takes me back to a really cool place.
Thank you for posting. Listening in bed in Puglia southern Italy.
Nice.
What a rush. My daughter was 3 days old when this first played. I know I missed this show. Now I get to enjoy it. Listened to these tales while I was growing up.
Neat ☺
I love Samm Dan, my favourite mystery writer! Thank you Chillisunshine. P.S Are you watching Dark matter and Dark energy? Fascinating! !!
Sounds fascinating but no I hadn't even heard of it until now.......Guess I'll have to look into it.
Right with you Summer! Sam Dann was definitely The Mann!

@@Shar1022 went okay but during the winter
Not good
@@Shar1022 can iask how no you
Great little piece of storytelling, thankyou. I can imagine a young Stephen King/Matt Groening listening to these
I'm sure they enjoyed these programs too. When this first aired, I had recently read Steven King's, "The Stand".
Seth MacFarlane of Family Guy was a big old time radio fan
I started listening to the CBSRMT around 1976. I used a home made antenna to tune in to a distant country radio show late in the evening. I'd copy them with a cassette player while listening in the dark! A lot of fond memories. Now I'm in my 60's and I still love listening to them!
Poul anderson is yet with us!
Was there any problems with this story cuz it sounds like the tape got stuck a number of times.
I'm listening at night with a thunderstorm outside. The effect is like a live AM radio broadcast with electrical interference.
Oh dude, this was a great show. Mandel Kramer, from Johnny Dollar to modern day space age tales; if he is in it, it’s worth listening to it!
Mandel Kramer: my Idol.
I love you. These are so good Thanks so much x
So very strange yet so very awesome I loved it
What an imaginative story A planet Save by the Max Factor listen to 6-17-20
My mom used to listen to this series before she went to bed, and now I listen to these while I paint or diamond paint. Hopefully my son will find these interesting when he gets older. Thank you for loading these awesome stories!! 💖
tweakiepop series first aired in 1974.
You mention King and Groening listening to this program while they were young.
Not sure how you define young but neither was a wide eyed kid when this aired.
Groening about age 20, King around ago 27.
This was great! So imaginative!
Thx for the wonderful bedtime stories.
Can we all take a moment to praise Magda for her honesty?
Good episode
Today is July 13 and this seems very timely. Today is a sad day concerning the state of these UNITED STATES. Pray for healing ✝️ it's time..
An old fashioned story spoilt by the advertising which interrupt the play.
He goes to a world where they have a prophecy which is a corruption of the Gospel. He then let's them think he's the messiah.
I thought this was gonna be a Sabbath documentary.
Men shouldn't really wear it. Lol I died.
Could you recommend a great space adventure journey of a crew within a spaceship? Kind of like a X minus One or Dimension X style. Thanks so much!!
Do you mean an episode of CBSRMT with a space adventure theme?

There is a series of books called omega force you may like. If this question still has relevance.
@@ChillySunshine Yes,exactly Chilly! Stories with a space journey as a backdrop no matter the genre are my favorite. Sorry for the late response! I'm still finding gems on your channel! Thank you
@@billaleandri3091 Thank you Bill! I will look that up! I love stories happening within a spaceship as a backdrop! I was wondering if CBSRMT had others too? I didn't see Chillys response four years ago but better late than never!

Chilly is as good as Chiller Theatre that I grew up watching
disappointing scifi story - but the Vino Bronco (?) ad at 38:57 is funny
Mmm
Sounds like Antichrist
Bad audio
