If they were to change the rez system to be quicker, would you come back or play PUBG more often?
Absolutely, imagine if they implemented a heal with a kill type mechanic this would push people to actually want to fight and not be so campy
Me and my team had always thought if they had a rez system it would be better somehow.. now that’s we have it, it’s brutally long. It’s intense which i like but when you spend half of the game without your mates and they return needing loot AGHH. So yes I think it would improve a bunch if they made it a bit quicker. Or I would hope 😅

I miss 2017 PUBG so terribly much. Nowadays I don't play games much. Great memories of laughing with friends while driving the van on the original map, blasting the A-Team theme song through in-game voice chat, flipping and landing upside-down on a house with a team inside it, just for us to somehow manage to take them out and keep laughing.

PUBG is literally the reason i built a PC. i started hanging out with my best friend's roommate in 2017 who was the dungeon master for their D&D group and a big PC guy. he had 2 PCs so id go over the night before a D&D session and we'd play PUBG for hours. 2018 i finally built a PC. Although now, i havent touched PUBG in years. And while id like to go back to it, i just dont have the time to build my skills to be competitive in the game. i would just get stomped on over and over and wouldnt have a good time. Same thing that happened to me with Apex. Loved that game so much, but just didnt have the time to get better and inevitably the constant defeat and few wins made me sunset that game too. But the memories of those games...
I feel ya man, that's one of the reasons I don't play anymore, the other is my crew all got married and have kids (lowkey me too)
I swear ive been watching aculite since pubg first launched. Crazy how long this game has been out and Connor can still frag any lobby.

Just yesterday I realized it has only been 7 years. It feels much longer. Aculite's PUBG videos inspired me to get a gaming PC at my 50s and start playing again (Though I started as a bot in Ring of Elysium:)). His calm approach and voice, his excellent content, make him my favorite RUclipsr.
When I first started watching it was you, tom, fugglet, and stone playing PUBG and its still just as fun to watch today!

On rondo at the boxes where you can buy things, you can also sell attachments for the coin currency and make it easier to get the crate weapons

@Aculite You can boost and heal yourself while driving, just can't turn left or right while boosting/healing.

Aculite and PUBG is always the best combo. And it’s agree, they absolutely need to change the rez system.
You don't need to boost when silent seat-swapping, just make sure you hold W as you switch :)

They added the guards and commander way before rondo i dont know if you played it but pubg had a map called haven it was a very small 3x3 or 4x4 map that was kinda dark and had tons of buildings with the AI in there

Glad I recently got into this. Idk if I'd like the previous versions. It's pretty fun on xbox. I do have crossplay off, so it's a mix of players and bots. But out of 60 solo TPP, I've got 5 wins, 33% top 10, average 4.1 k/d. Pretty neat. I prefer third because I've always loved it. Gears of war was my main game until a few years ago with 5. Don't wanna talk about it lmao
If you really want a "BR like no other " - there is a PUBG/WZ clone now for virtual reality in open beta: "Contractors Showdown". 60+ players in a map, and its the first "real" high player, big map, BR for VR - totally 100% the future of BR's

change the rez system to an instant drop at the station but only once per zone. do it for all maps. easy solution
I play PUBG daily, it's my game of choice.
The rez system isn't particularly good, and there are the different systems per map, of all of them the Bluechips are the best idea but yeah it's difficult to suggest the rez should be instant because there would more often than not be a helicopter polluting the game noise, but equally the excruciating wait sucks too. On Ranked respawns are not allowed at all, it's very annoying getting removed from a game and having to spectate for 30minutes especially if it's a case where you got PUBG'd by some jank physics or an obvious cheat (still not addressed).
On Rondo, first of all the map kinda sucks, but this is a habit of PUBG - the maps don't start with the ridges and terrain that let you play PUBG how you play PUBG and often need a few tweaks in updates before they're as good as Erangel or Miramar have gotten to, I like the Emergency Cover Flare - it should be available on all maps (its balanced heavily through its high weight too) but its a bandaid for Rondo's smooth terrain currently. The shop you can forget buying the extreme equipment without an insane amount of coin farming and its way more fiddly than the premium loot spots on the older maps - much prefer getting a key to a loot spot like on Erangel, Vikendi, Taego or Deston, the Flare Gun or simply going for the Vikendi ice stations or enjoying the giga drops on Vikendi and Taego.
Anyway yes, PUBG is a little mish mashed but its still the original and most genuine feeling BR.
Is it possible to get into this game if I've never played before? I have played COD since COD3 but never the BRs until WZ1, which was great and I'm loving MW3 warzone again, but something about PUBG is exciting. I'm not a movement crackhead so perhaps it's the more tactical nature of it. But is it even something I could enjoy or be competitive in if I start now?

The rez system used the same fucking mechanic as the comeback arena from vikendi and taego cause the devs were to lazy to build something from scratch...so itll stay like that lol
They can't make it a minute cause they used the same system as the "gulag" function that they tried and that system spawned you back when the old ring closed.

At this point I would only come back for a pubg 2 that had better movement animations, a more fluid feel.. The pace of combat is just right so they don't need to change that. Still just feels to clunky, and things like jumping are delayed an slow... Hard to put into words but it needs a proper refresh which I just think they won't do, so the game is dead to me

I would love a faster respawn time, and that they fix the stupid driveby. If pubg is going to be a more realistic BR its just stupid that you can beam people from a car with no driver in a field.

What are you using something like Xchronus? kuz I noticed at one point you were using your ace with no recoil & you didn’t bother putting a tac stock on it even tho you had the opportunity to put one on it when you killed the guy in the warehouse soooo very suspicious my boi
