Quick look at my newly blooming Miltoniopsis orchid! This is the Morris Chestnut cross with large sparkly flowers that shine during the day. So far, this Miltoniopsis orchid has been growing easily for me. - Хобби
Ah! Of all the miltoniopsis the pink lemonade is the one i really really want to! Good idea to experiment though
Isn't Pink Lemonade just beautiful!? You have great taste! lol. :)
Oh that’s true some cats nibble on our leaves...
They are very rude when it come to that!
Pls do more orchid videos ❤
Beautiful orchid! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you, Patricia!
That is gorgeous!!! Way to go my friend!
Thanks, Sherry! I love it!
He is a beauty! They are fun to experiment with, I have a handful under LED’s🌺
I am loving it so far! Fingers crossed I don't kill it!
Wow...roots everywhere my friend...luv that bloom looks like burgundy velvet color...is it? Super cool...so pretty....
Isn't he pretty! Yeah, i'd consider it burgundy-ish.. im slightly shade blind so idk for sure. lol.
Wow what a beautiful colour :)
love it!
Absolutely gorgeous! I finally saw one up close at an orchid show recently. Wanted to take it home so bad but I’m a bit intimidated by them
nah, don't be intimidated! Gardeners often following the saying, "you haven't tried until you've killed the same plant 3 times!" ... kind of a pricey learning curve though! :) I'm hopeful i will be able to keep it happy, despite the hot summers.
I like them but not even going to try one because of the heat here. I try and stick to what I know will grow. I learned a lesson with my cypripediums I brought from Michigan. Big fail with them not because of the heat but the lack of cold freezing winter dormancy they need.
yeah, I know what ya mean there! Cyps are cool! I want to plant a bunch, but they are too expensive!
yeah, my taste has changed in orchids too. but that is a pretty boy! hope he does well for you!
oh me too! fingers crossed! Thank you!
I do love these and the variations usually. I love how trippy drippy they can be. Very striking and yummy strong scents. I've killed or given mine away after potting to some one I feel is appropriate. Watch for bugs/slugs/snails etc. These are especially deee-lish (I hear). Goodluck! Xoxo Dilly Dilly
Haha.. I was just getting ready to hit it with DE powder because I have found a lot of ants and snails playing around in his pot! Thanks for the heads up!
We do not have Miltoniopsis that much in our country.
Aww, im sorry... they are finicky to grow anyways if you don't live in the right climate... i really probably shouldn't have even gotten this one... but i wanted to try it out. :)
Very pretty💕💕 I have the Bert field Eileen. Very lovely. I see you have a xerographica air plant. I have one also just love it. Its my fav💕💕 love to see your close up and your care for her!!!💕💕
Thanks, Suzette! That is a beautiful orchid! oh yes, I love my Tillandsias! That is a tough one too, have had it for years and barely do anything for it except occasional fertilizing.
Tropical Plant Party ive had mine about coming on a year now I guess. Love it. I just soak and fertilize they are so beautiful💕💕💕💕
💕great video 😘👍
thank you so much!
The Orchid Gallery here on Signal Mountain have the pink Miltoniopsis and soon to have the yellow ones. Let me know if you need more information! 💞
lol, thank you! With the more mild temps there, do they grow well for you?
What a beauty... can you not grow it in the house with air conditioning?
It's kind of hit or miss indoors... my cats really love miloniopsis, oncidium, zygo leaves. lol... Even with that aside, there's always a humidity struggle indoors in the summer because of the constantly running Air conditioning.
What a coincidence... saw this exact orchid for sale at a plant nursery here in Canada, just this past weekend.... 1 bulb in the 4" pot, with a single spike of flowers... $60.00 Is it just me, or was that not just a big 'ole ripoff? C'mon.... $60 ??????
yeah that's kinda crazy! It is a very common Miltoniopsis! I think mine was $25 to $35, with 3 or 4 pseudobulbs... and don't these cool temp loving orchids grow like crazy for the growers up there in canada!?
