LaJolla has old money and is know for it's expensive properties but La Jolla isn't San Diegos most expensive neighborhood . The most extravagant homes and neighborhoods are found in the Racho Santa Fe area just north east of La Jolla and that is where you find all the vacation homes of the billionaires and celebrities . You wont be able to just drive around and video do to gated communities with a lot of security . Although even if you do get passed one of the neighborhoods security gates it is harder to see the homes do to them being on bigger properties .
