we absolutely can get a strong start out of the gate. say 10-2 or 11-3 which I know seems unlikely sitting here in August, however! we have better talent than ppl think.
great comments about Binnington. give 'em hell #50

top X factors Faulk, Pierre-Olivier Joseph, Perunovich, Radek and Dvorsky Player I am most interested in seeing is Pierre-Olivier Joseph. Dvorsky and Perunovich are big unknowns and players to watch

If Minnesota makes a run, Snugs won't be available until mid April. No way he plays 40 games in St. Louis.

The true X factor is Buchnevich. Coming from being a trade piece to being extended long term, he needs to be the man on this team.
BTW, what are your thoughts on the rumors of Huberdeau being traded to the Blues for possibly Parayko?

From what we've seen, those are hypothetical trade scenarios, rather than actual rumors. That being said, it's definitely interesting! The Blues need scoring and have enough cap space to do it, but they also need defense pretty badly, and Parayko is one of the best options we have. I'd be more inclined to trade away Justin Faulk, especially since Huberdeau has a massive contract.

blues dont have horses on D , no true stallion #1 ..parayko probably a 2nd pairing or 1b on contender.. lacking a few top 6 .. unproven bottom 6 .. great tandem will see if hofer is fo real. need to dump guys like saad who have no motor empty 40 pts
