    Do you have a Jasminer X4-1U? Did you think this was as impressive as I did? This should have been built like this from the beginning!

      Don't have one but, that is sickkk.
      You can guess the reason is that it's intentions are to be rackmounted and have units stacked literally right on top of it.

      Yes I have one, and have been thinking about doing this since I saw a video from RUclipsr CNminer in June 2022 about putting four 120mm fans on the heatsink. It worked well for them, but I had already made a "silent box" for my Jasminer, so I am not in a rush to lower the sound, but I will do this to get rid of the box and still be silent. Thanks for your video! Your endresult was very nice :) I will order the black version of these fans instead of the brown ones ;) I have not decided if I should go for the 15mm to get the sleak look, or go for the 25mm and having them sticking up a bit through the top cover.

      @Nisse977 2 года назад +2

      Okey I did mine yesterday. I went for the black version of the 120*15mm Noctua fans ;)
      I also have 257W consumption on 235V 👍 It was 287W with the stock high rpm fans.
      All ok now, just one thing, the Jasminer PSU fan is loud (did not hear it before..) So I might swap that one to some day.

    Just did my fan mod. Different fans, but same results. Super quiet and keeping cool. Ty!

    I know it's an old video, but helped me out, so thank you. I purchased a used one for a great price, but was just too loud. Mine is running at 51c, but that's maybe because I just have it open now, still need to customize the top part with fan cutouts.

    • @ChumpChangeXD
      @ChumpChangeXD  День назад

      If you don’t have small kids man just leave it open if you want or you can just cut cardboard over it and tape it on and it’ll work fine! But thank you for watching 🙏🏻

    • @BorisXgen
      @BorisXgen День назад +1

      @ChumpChangeXD yeah no small kids and it's in the garage. Probably just going to leave it open. Just was concerned that it was running at around 52c, where you had it at 42c, but think should be fine. Fans are coming in around 1600.
      Btw, you are a master diy'er.

    Legend. Patient your solution before they integrate it. Jasminer should be giving you free sponsorship after this. Nice one brv. (I bet your 4 noctua fans are cheaper than the 8 delta fans used and easier to replace when/if they die.)

    Hey Chump man, You could of just left the fans in there and just disconnected them.

    • @ChumpChangeXD
      @ChumpChangeXD  2 года назад +2

      It will just impede the air flow so I removed them

    • @DiyintheGhetto
      @DiyintheGhetto 2 года назад

      @@ChumpChangeXD not really because your new air flow is coming from the top now and not the back. Originally it was coming from the back to the front or front to the back. Now it’s coming from the top now to the front .

    • @ChumpChangeXD
      @ChumpChangeXD  2 года назад +1

      @@DiyintheGhetto but yes because the air is now going to be exhausted through the slots in the machine from front to back. Having fans in the way will create friction and restrict the fans that are now doing all of the work. This will in theory burn them out faster than normal…

    • @DiyintheGhetto
      @DiyintheGhetto 2 года назад

      @@ChumpChangeXD true. But also having slower RPM fans won’t push it out any faster then the original ones because of the pressure.

    Awesome man, great work!!!! I have the same two U4's placed under my home due to the piercing whine from the fans, they are too much! I do not like Noctua brown either, so could they be painted, h yea. I will paint mine without taking them apart by sliding paper under the fans
