I work the base in different ways. Sometimes I start with a digital painting on my tablet. I use procreate as program to make a digital sketch for using as underpainting. Or I start of with watercolor or ink as an underpainting on paper. The paper is glued to a firm steady surface. Then I start with layers of beeswax (non colored and colored with powder pigment) In between I sometimes paint some more with oil pastel or alcohol ink.
the best I've seen. Love to take an online class. Been doing encaustics for 10 years.
Beautiful! And SUCH vivid colours! 👏👏👏👌
Just beautiful ...... Thank you - Kind regards - Judi - Australia
Beautifully done
I love watching this. I too paint with encaustic and I enjoy watching someone else manipulate the wax and the surface - very beautifully!
Brilliant
What did you use to "create the base"? Was that a computer program of some sort? Very beautiful work!
