Hilarious. Scotland is a basket case under the SNP. It entirely exists thanks to the subsidies it receives from English taxpayers. It has the largest budget deficit in the developed world, what it spends compared to it's tax intake. Most of its employment is public sector. You don't need to "fight" England btw, you had a vote on independence which you should thank your lucky stars that you lost and the high point of the SNP is now past. Scotland joined the Union because it was bankrupt and it wanted to share England's wealth.

I’m from the UK and remember in the seventies and eighties when a lot of us wouldn’t buy South African produce because of the then apartheid. My dad wouldn’t touch anything from South Africa (he had a small business) then thankfully South Africa got their freedom and the wonderful Nelson Mandela was freed. As I am part Palestinian/Yemeni/Irish/Scottish/English I can’t believe a lot of my bloodline is now part of the resistance. I’m so hoping the Palestinians get justice and the terrible genocide will end. I have family in Ramallah in the West Bank I hope they will be safe. My family in Yemen I haven’t seen for many years, I hope that poor country, the only one in the Arab world with any morals will prosper. It looks like South Africa was another country with moral courage. I hope your country prospers being a member of BRICS.

India never wanted nor wants to compete with China. 'Hindi Chini bhai bhai', which means 'Indians and Chinese are brothers' was an old slogan for us.
