This was a good song. I've never forgotten it. It was released during the year I was very aware of all the songs that were underground in the country season and loved them. That summer was the best in my opinion. We also had Suns of the Desert "Everybody's gotta grow up sometime", and "Katie wants a fast one" from Garth being played in the same time frame.
First off its Sons Of The Desert, second, Katie Wants A Fast One is by Steve Warner feat. Garth and when "Breathless" came out, Sons Of the Desert probably would have had "Whatever Comes First" on the radio

The cajuns 3500 of them left Nova Scotia in1755, only half of which made it to Louisiana invited by the 25,000 french that was already there. Most folks that call themselves cajun have only some cajun blood. How can 1500 Arcadians outbreed the 25,000 french that was here. But the word was hijacked and now we all call ourselves cajun. We are french, german, spanish, and indian ethnicity.
