👍 Cute Raffaella. that is the predicament that I often find myself in as well because I have the same time difference as you. We all have our daily life and responsibilities and can not react immediately. So how can one show their respect, love, admiration and appreciation for a wonderful musician that is so dedicated to blessing us with her high qualified performances? Sometimes a simple ...Hi Sangah!; I was here or a 🌹💜( that's from me of course 😂) could do it, but.... honestly? I prefer to search for words as well. You would not believe how often I search, choose a different word or rewrite a sentance because I feel it is too blah, blah and Sangah is worth so much more. However in the end when I then see that Sangah's subscreibers are now at 212,000 I know we all must be doing something right and often enough. Best wishes for you and yours and don't forget to rest ahead of time for the coming weekend.

After having watched this video now several times, I feel Sangah is so in her element when playing this. Deeply involved and with much emotions, it's such a pleasure to experience this rendition. And also the colors in the video are so beautiful as if it were a painting, with the clear light from the window to the colors Sangah is wearing. And for the very interesting historic background of the song I refer to Lisa's comment under Sangah's pinned intro comment. Very surprising indeed.
Beautiful comment dear friend. Love it. ❤️. So glad you, too, felt it. Just like you, several times now and I have lost count. Beautiful & elegant & so hard to describe the beauty in full blown splendor.
Sangah gives you so much more than merely playing notes on a page. The nuance of this interpretation is her close connection to the feel and expression of the original words and how she conveys this into a melody that feels as if these words are not missing at all. Sangah has such a deep connection to this music that comes straight from the heart and it's such a pleasure to share that with her. Amazing.
I'm unable to stop myself from commenting on this. Incredible playing here on this great melody which was popularised by Julie London back in the 50s. Sangah has everything in her playing and such a delicacy of touch. I would describe her as a piano magician who can conjure up any mood or feeling.
Happy Monday, Sangah and Bubuji. Fitting melancholy notes to fill the air here on an overcast morning. Wonderful and tender rendition. Have a wonderful day! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
Listening to this is such an ethereal experience, it reaches deep down into our soul and touches something raw and universal. It's as if she had brought the music down from Blues Heaven, and materialized it in this world expertly through her finger tips on the piano. So mesmerizing. Yeowza. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🐕🦺🎹👊😮👍
Our Sangah does it again, playing a classic song with impeccable touch, feel, and improvisation in a way that only she can do. The runs gave me goosebumps Sangah - and I felt like I was in a smoke filled room in a jazz bar from the 50s. Your depth and interpretation are just beyond explanation, resulting in one of the best performances of this song that I’ve ever heard. I can almost see Julie London standing next to you at the piano singing along. You just transported me back to a simpler time and place characterized by some of the most immortal singers, musicians, and song writers that this Nation has ever produced. But you have that ability to transcend time and space through your playing and music, creating moods and feelings that nobody else can. That’s what you do. I loved it Sangah, exquisite performance. ❤️💕🥰😊
Yes yes yes! I feel the same even though I am too young for the 50’s Jazz era but I have the soul of one. In complete agreement with your comment! Julie London would love Sangah’s piano to this song. Both very strong ladies as well. Yup, that piano run is too awesome for words. Wow. Someone who adores this song and find it incredibly captivating as much as me. I didn’t know this until this morning that Julie London married Bobby Troop, the composer to my all time favorite tunes, “Route 66”. I am fascinated by the history behind that one song brings. @@LisaRSArt Lisa, lovely comment, and I couldn’t agree more. Sometimes I wish we could back and experience those times in person - I’m not quite old enough to have done that the first go-around either. 😁 I just love those times, and Sangah can take us back to any era by simply sitting in front of that keyboard. Isn’t she amazing? Her talent just doesn’t stop at her playing abilities but also in her ability to take us there in a truly authentic fashion. @@stevem8149 yes. I wasn’t here for Emergency shows but went back to watch a few episodes. I kind of of fell in love with Julie London’s tenacity and determination to be herself among the business.
