Appreciate the likes and support on the first video. If you want these longer videos just keep it up and I can do it for this game since it's done in chapters. Much love to all of you fam!
Ty brad , I've been watching you since your 2ed year , I'm a 58 year old widowed man , and you got me through a lot of hard times, thank you James Dean ,
Hey Brad not sure if you'll read this but you're safe to play music and not worry about copyright as all the chapter end music was made in house with Remedy in collaboration with a Finnish music company specifically for the game. They didn't want the copyright mess that happened with the first game, and also, the music ties in directly with what's happening in the story.
On some games he literally searches every crack and dent in the game but this whole game its like he just walked over a bunch of collectables and missed many routes, didn't even turn his camera to make sure there were no enemys in his back corners when he enters rooms 😂😂 i can go onn and on but thats all i can nane rn and im only 15 min into pt 2
Fun fact: Alex has the face of Sam Lake and the voice of James Mccaffrey. They also did this combination in Max Payne 1 the video released in 2001. Nice little throwback
Brad you’re the most wholesome, straightforward gaming RUclipsr there is. My #1 pick. I’ve been here since the first Alan Wake. And that time capsule you did at the end of part 1 was awesome man, you’re a great dad
the technique is called "Mind Palace" it is an actual practice. AKA "The method of loci". The mind palace is an ancient Greco-Roman technique that can help you improve your memory. Its the method how the literary Sherlock Holmes investigated cases.
I really didn't expect the FBC to directly have more agents in bright falls. And more Nordic references! Gotta say, I am all for the universe that these guys are building, it runs so much deeper with every new unexplored avenue
It would be awesome if more people knew/appreciated the Alan Wake games. A great friend showed me the first one and it has great memories attached to it. It is cool seeing the new one look so well done.
This game just feels like such a big deal. The feel and vibe I’m getting from this is nothing less of a blockbuster. This is the first game in the next gen that actually feels huge to me. 13 yrs later and they didn’t disappoint, I think Allen awake 2 will go down as one of the most significant titles in the 9th generation of video game titles.
Just that you are still here after all these years is nice. I'm an older gaming mom with sons now in their late twenties. I used to watch them and you and have been playing a few years. Some channels have stopped uploading but yours is still going :)
Huge fan of these long videos!! I have been watching you since the old Assassin's Creed 3 days. So watching you get older and start a family has been amazing. Keep up the amazing work please
Another great video from Brad! I love the slight crossover with Control: the mentions of FBC, the profiling being similar to calls from Trench/Marshall. And that ritual, with the Overlap and giving the heart to the witch - that was awesome. And now that Alan Wake himself is back in the picture - oh, this will be one hell of a game! I am stoked to see where it goes from here.
@@bubblebutbandit1666 There's a whole section of Alan Wake related artifacts in the Panopticon. There was the thermos that never goes empty and keeps the coffee inside at a perfect temperature at all times. Yes, Control and Alan Wake are intertwined. But before we only saw the Alan Wake stuff in Control.
Started watching you when I graduated at 17, I’m 27 now 😊🥰🥰🥰 thank you for this amazing adventure and hope to keep venturing more with you and gameplays ❤❤❤ And hope you and your family are well!
I've had a similar experience, I used to watch brad after school when I was 13 and now I'm 24 still here only after work haha. feels like growing up with an older brother for me. really wishing best of everything to him, to you and the community as well. been a journey
He looks like Max Payne because Max was modeled on Sam Lake, who plays Casey. He's also the creative director at Remedy, basically invented Max Payne and Alan Wake
Love this game footage. What gets me though is how nonchalant the FBI agents are, even though someone disappeared in front of them and a dead man came alive. I thought they would be a bit more shocked
Well one can see things she's never experienced through like... Thinking really hard? And the other one can slow time at will. I'd say it's another Tuesday.
a gamer dad and a sports person like you; your children will have an awesome childhood growing up. Bored, play games, bored again, go outside, play sports huhu
brad i adore you and your heart and kindness. i been here for 10 years and counting- BUT WE GOTTA START PAYING ATTENTION MY BOI. watching you pass things or completely miss whole plot lines is starting to get painful and ily 🥺
YES!! I've been hoping you would start doing Hour long playthroughs for a while now. LOVE this format, great gameplay, hope you stick with the longer vids moving forward on all your content. CHEERS Buddy!!
Actually the actor behind the Alex Casey character is Sam Lake (max payne’s creator) and the voice behind Alex Casey is James Macraffey who was the voice of max payne in max payne 2
As a black swedish guy (who always has people dumbfounded by my existnce) Saga was def the representation I never ever thought I was going to get haha.
I've been watching since 2013. I don't watch every game's playthrough, but now and again, there's a new game that I just know I can trust you to provide a great playthrough with fun and upbeat commentary. ❤
15:22 ayyyee Control (FBC= Federal Bureau of Control) Also I haven’t watched/played the first game. But she seems to have the ability to communicate with being (the shadows that gives her tips) like Jessie in control.
Is it just me or does Casey sometimes repeat his dialogue when talking to Saga? Like, I swear I've heard him say "I never minded rain. Feels like home" and "The killers are usually the ones doing the ritual...not the detectives" twice now since the first episode😅😅
The Stephen King movie/novel had the Memory Warehouse that acts in the same way. Jonesy hides his consciousness there when Mr. Grey takes over his body. It's always a neat concept.
Casey also reminds me of Max Payne. The Max Payne remakes will also be developed on Remedy's Northlight game engine, the same engine used to develop Control and Alan Wake 2. The original Max Payne games were also a result of a partnership between Remedy and Rockstar, with Remedy handling development and Rockstar Games publishing. So there is a connection.
My 1st encounter with this Gendre Game. Almost like reading a book! Different - Detective & Horror combined. What a combination. Am really that old. HS🤔
I love your content and I love the long format content like this and I can't believe that this January will be 10 years of me watching you I can not wait to finish collage and work on games that I hope you will get to play and love!
Yep, he is the actor of the very first Max Payne, and voice of whole series. He actually already in the first Alan Wake game as Thomas Zane/Alex Casey.
Sami järvi is a Finnish video game writer. He is the creative director at Remedy Entertainment. Sami gave his face and James McCaffrey did the voice acting.
hi rad the brad thank you for your dedication and commitment to the channel always bringing us viewers fantastic content your the best been with you since mw2 lets do this hope all is well with you and your family
I've been watching on and off Rad's walkthroughs over the years and sometimes it honestly just shocks me at how much this person has played games, how many games, yet he still cannot quite get it. The very very obvious things, the paths to go to and what a blocked path is, is just extremely obvious it really is and then even though he is fully focused at the game misses the part that you create a spot to shoot an enemy with the light and goes for headshots. I cannot be the only one, its very naive and definitely hard to watch.
Appreciate the likes and support on the first video. If you want these longer videos just keep it up and I can do it for this game since it's done in chapters. Much love to all of you fam!

I can't wait to play this Game it looks very interesting.
Ty brad , I've been watching you since your 2ed year , I'm a 58 year old widowed man , and you got me through a lot of hard times, thank you James Dean ,

enjoying this series rn💙

Yes! I really hope he looks into that and see, so we don't have to go through this the entire series
that is awesome make their own music and help the RUclipsrs and company out against copyright strikes on their channel
Watching Brad walk past the only possible thing to interact with over and over never gets old lol.
Once I get PS5 I'm so getting this game
I know what u mean but I suppose it’s part of his charm 😂
Can't help but watch but get infuriated when he walks past something or misses something very obvious

I just noticed that.
He is Max Payne. They just can't use the name anymore. Block out "Alex" and hear "Max" lol
Max Payne 3 is so much better than Rockstar games' own LA Noire

There’s a video game that plays like “life is strange” that uses a mind palace to solve mysteries is what he’s referring to. Forgot the name
That is so cool
The effect at 59:00 is incredible. Even as a programmer the way it's done so seamlessly impresses me.
I know the process behind it, can tell you it’s a lot of work from both designers and devs + VFX ofc
We will always support you, Brad. Keep up the good work.
We will
