This information is only part true! Time and time again I come across videos and articles such as these where the speaker or instructor is hammering home the point of double taxation on a C Corporation tax return. However the double taxation is only true if you issue a dividend and this is not true for most small businesses, the other main component the instructor or speaker generally leaves out is that when a person/shareholder or shareholders have the prophets passed through to them on a subchapter S corporation or a partnership that these people are already paying a higher individual income tax rate because their spouses have income or this shareholder already has other income and is paying at least 15% by the time that you add in the profits from the S corporation tax return, you're now paying 20% or 25% on the profits at individual federal income tax rate and then compound that with the self-employment tax rate of 14 1/4% so you have automatically taxed your corporate profits at 34 1/4% to 39 1/4% not including your state individual income tax rate and or city individual income tax rate.

He did not copy Roger. Maybe one was inspired by the other. There are similarities in how they present the material, however each instructor had his own unique pedagogy. I love both,, but Miles CPA instructor writes much more tidy.

I am a CPA with experience in audit but I would like to gain some experience in tax. Is anyone aware of a training platform or software program I could use to gain experience in tax that would prepare me to step into a tax preparer position ready to contribute on Day 1? I would like to prepare myself to contribute immediately with a minimum of on-the-job training. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
