I love your "do not fear" philosophy. Did you know that there are 365 Bible verses that address anxiety or fear? One verse for every day in a year! When a concept is repeated that often, we can trust that "fear not" is a central element of an abundant life.
Amen!
Amen!
wow! definitely not a coincidence ♥️
I love that you're kids are learning about economics with the pigs. I think its so important to encourage them to spend a small percentage of their earnings on some sort of little investment or something they have always wanted. Its important to not instill a fear of spending.
Or even having them donate a small portion of it? Just a thought!
The garden is absolutely beautiful 😊
I am so happy I found you here on You Tube because you remind me so much how I always worked hard at home. I never had any luck making bread and trying yo learn by watching your videos. I am having so many health problems that cause me to be in constant horrible pain and it helps to keep my mind off the pain by watching your videos thank you for that. When I was younger I felt like it would be a lifetime before I became disabled but it suddenly hit me and I wish I had a few days of no pain so I could enjoy the things I loved doing. Your family is beautiful and I love your home and property. Thank you again for sharing your special life at home on a farm
Aaah, I didn't want this video to end! Absolutely love how you own your kitchen and move around freely in it. Also your outlook on food and cooking is really helping me out at the moment! PS - That garden it's beautiful!
I think your “experimental” garden looks gorgeous! Blasted bees! lol. I live in Minnesota so I LOVE spring!!! Woohoo!
I got a little scared about 5 months ago when I figured out that I need to be prepared for food shortages. Then God told me, be prepared not scared. So that's what I'm working on. ❤
Absolutely! All praises to the Most High Yah for His warnings.
I’m so excited for the kittens and chicks!!! Newborn babies and newborn animals. Such a sweet spring!
You have been WORKING! It all looks nice! Tell your babies good luck with the pigs.
I love your attitude on preparedness. So many people who homestead are doing it out of a sense of fear or a mistaken sense that they will somehow survive alone in the midst of chaos. Only God knows what will happen should any type of crisis happen in our lives and he has an exact day in an hour when we will die. At the same time, it never hurts to be prudent 😉
💯
Lots of hard work but so with it❤
Kitty is so rotund 🥰 Chicks and kittens! Sounds like Spring to me.
Enjoyed. The garden is lovely.
“Shoulder baby season” LOL 😆 I need this on a t-shirt 😂🙌
Great video! That hen with her chicks was super cute! Those sourdough fritters look to die for, I must try that recipe! 😊
Love it! That baby..oh my goodness, sweetness! Thank you for making videos, I like your personality and the way you think :-)
Love your garden! The baby is adorable & You look great ! My sister is also a subscriber to your you tube & we always talk about what we have learned from you. Thank you for the garden tour & your apple fritters look so yummy! Im going to try that recipe!😊❤
Can’t wait to try those fritters . Lovely video altogether .❤
I love your dirty hands. This is my favorite time of year. My hands look the same all season and get raggedy looking and I wouldn't have it any other way 😍
Food insurance is never a bad thing. It can help yourself or others if there are emergencies, job losses etc.
It all looks great. ❤
My youngest is 9 months old and I’m still in the “one handed recipe season” 😅
i’m truly so inspired by you! cooking from scratch, multiple kids, homeschool, gardening, homesteading, putting effort into looking nice, doing everything one handed with a newborn and i’m over here with one 4 month old baby and absolutely struggling and can only cook instant pot meals or something that takes 15 minutes and the house is always a mess lol i’m praying it gets better soon, i hope to be more like you someday ♥️
My fifth is due in august and I can confidently say the first baby is seriously the hardest. Seriously,. Older children are so incredibly helpful, even a 2 yo can be trained to do a lot. It’ll get easier 😊😊😊 and experience is golden, you’ll make more progress and figure out good systems and processes to run your household.
Take it one day at a time, especially if this is your first because remember you’ve never done this before. You can do it.
The garden looks beautiful.
Watch your back honey that's some heavy work you're doing there. I love watching your videos and I see how extremely hard you work inside and outside your home and I worry about you.. please be careful. Blessings to you all.
You look great after pregnancy, you have so much energy and happiness. Your garden is starting to grow and you, my snails and ants are eating everything I plant. Lemon balm, oregano, tomatoes and cucumbers are among them - a difficult year lies ahead. Regards❤
Your garden is looking amazing!
Gurl, I thought I was country digging barefoot with a shovel! Glad to know I’m not the only one!!! 😂
Girl your body needs time to heal!! Read the book the first 40 days. 🤪
On the other hand, 😆 also due same time as garden planting season starts here in Canada, in about 3 weeks. 😆 And I was determined to get a bigger garden this year
Love the pink roses.
I am currently whipping these fritters together with my 4 mo old baby on hip! I was going to post on your blog but wasn’t able to find the comment section. I didn’t see the milk measurement in your ingredient list, and in the instructions I don’t see when to add the sourdough discard. I’m eye balling the milk and adding the discard with the wet ingredients :) Anyways, I love all your content and recipes! Very relatable and inspiring as a homesteading mom of two from Hawaii.
It was funny when you said you didn't prefer red delicious apples for baking.I don't understand how anyone can prefer red delicious over any other apple for any use. I think they're disgusting 😂
I just love your property and the garden looks beautiful!
Had to laugh at the bee sting. I'm laughing with you. I've already been stung 2 times this Spring. You have a beautiful garden and that sweet lil baby on your shoulder is simply precious!! ❤
You sound good and look amazing . I can’t believe baby is 6 weeks already darling. 😮
Little Mama, you are awesome, new subscriber 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I love your energy! ❤
Garden looks beautiful ❤
Your garden looks so nice.
Baby is growing.
Hope, you are getting back into pre baby shape with all that hard work you're doing.
You have a beautiful family.
How do you keep the garden weeded in between the rows of potatoes?
Hugs & I'd help you with the children if i could.
Hugs
Love this whole video! The garden and the apple fritters!
And that orange skirt is so cute! Do
You know where I can find it?
I love pink lady apples
I love it Steph
Enjoyed the video 😊
Beautiful video. Curious if baby will sleep in a crib or without being held. Seems like a modern thing to hold baby a lot.
I can't believe I am here just a few minutes after you posted. It's close to midnight here in Hungary, Europe. I recently found your channel and have to say, that you are a refreshing breeze with your dedication and down-to-earth attitude. God bless you and your family.
Thank you! ❤️
Randomly question. What do you use for face wash and body wash? Do you use natural products? Your face is so clear:)
hi there! I love your vidoes and i keep learning a lot. I wanted to ask what do you use when you marinate your meat if you don't use oils? thank you
Your debt free story would be great!
What does the momma chicken feed her babies? If she is on the nest does she get food for the babies, wow, that is tricky.
Have ypu seen the Amazon documentary called "back to eden"? About biblical gardening? My clients started a homestead based off of those principles. I'd love to know if you've seen it also?
Im in the middle of making your fritters and it looks like you omitted how much milk 😂
I'll have to scroll back in the video and see if you mention how much milk it is
No milk in the batter, just the glaze!
I can’t believe you’re doing all that physical labor at 6 weeks postpartum! I’m 2.5 weeks postpartum and if I *walk* too much I’m back to bleeding 🥴
I was very fortunate to heal quickly this time!! A special grace after a long and hard labor with this one!
@@HopewellHeights that’s great! I’m very happy for you! Everything is looking amazing.
The garden hoe link? I’m in need of a good one.
Where do you get your skirts from?
Question, I have Celiac. Would Gluten free flour work the same in your recipes? Thanks
Red delicious apples are an abomination 🤣 I’m a honeycrisp fugi green apple gal 🎉
Please fix momma & all her babies. You’ll end up with hundreds of cats if you don’t control it now.
The garden is absolutely beautiful 😊
You are incredible! I'm excited to hear about your garden in the coming weeks and months.
You have such a great mind to plan for the future for you and the family 🥰I really enjoy listening and watching you ☺️
Loved this, I cant wait to start our garden ❤
Beautiful garden you are,an inspiration🌹
No fear, amen God did not give us a spirit of fear….just be prepared like our grandmothers did.
Exactly!
Cats that are around chickens are less allergenic. I’m not on top of the science, but it’s a thing.
Chickens make the antibodies for the cats and then when you eat the eggs, it’s helps you not react as much :)
Oh the bee sting. Muting bc the cuss words…right there with ya🤣
I had 6 calves find their way into my garden and orchard last night…I said some words 🫣🫣🤣
You look amazing post partum btw.
I'm in 7a and my beans are 6" tall and most my tomatoes are already knee high 😂 I just finished up my garden yesterday before the rain so now it's time to relax before the surge of harvest! God bless!
A couple things to text you! 😊 First one is, have you considered buying Khorazan non GMO/ancient wheat berries and grinding them yourself? I buy Khorazan wheat berries in bulk, which dont take up a ton of storage room (I go to Sam's and buy their empty frosting food-grade containers, for super cheap, to store them in), then grind them as I need them! We have felt so much better/healthier since doing that! I also have a commercial sifter for cakes and pastry flour, so the flour is super fine.
I just love you and your beautiful family so much and wanted to share that with you!
Also, seeing you hold your little one, (this might seem strange, but I promise it's not) with his little bare feet...in my family, when you look at a tiny babies feet from the bottom, their toes look like little snow peas in a pea pod! I giggle every time I see them! My children are all grown now, but...HERE COME THE GRANDS! So much fun!!! ❤
Thank you for being such a positive voice online! You love your family...and it shows! But, even more importantly, you love God! This world needs more folks sharing their faith! God bless you and yours! ❤
Sister, tell us where you got your skort!
